Accurate and timely information allows managers to identify opportunities and adjust strategies to meet market demands, thus creating a competitive advantage. In this context, business control tools have emerged to ensure the continuity of companies through improvements provided by data integration. The aim of this study is to identify the impacts of implementing the integrated management system, ERP “Omie”, in a newspaper company, focusing on the effects on the operational efficiency of the billing sector and on the quality of the information generated to support financial management decisionmaking. The specific objectives include characterizing the company, drawing up the flow of processes before and after implementation and identifying changes in organizational aspects. The methodology used consisted of a case study with a qualitative approach, including semistructured interviews with employees from different sectors related to the billing sector. The data was analyzed using content analysis, focusing on operational changes and users' perceptions of the system. The main results indicated that the adoption of the “Omie” ERP brought significant improvements in the automation of processes, reduction of errors, data integration and quality of management information. In addition, the research identified challenges related to employee adaptation and the migration of data from the previous system.
