Master Thesis Estratégias de promoção da saúde utilizadas na Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS) para o enfrentamento da Covid-19 no município de Pombal/PB(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-05-24) Monteiro, Priscila Mikaelly Fernandes; Gondim, Grácia Maria de Miranda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8361045312016183; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6456633682143320; Bosco Filho, João; Lopes, Márcia Cavalcanti Raposo; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2072-0390; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6327630205061702Master Thesis Fatores socioeconômicos e de assistência à saúde associados ao edentulismo no Brasil(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-04-19) Souza, Géssica Dandara Medeiros de; Rosendo, Tatyana Maria Silva de Souza; Oliveira, Ângelo Giuseppe Roncalli da Costa; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5311-697X; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0023445563721084; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6131-3201; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4946747115155324; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3009941266490872; Pessoa, Daniela Mendes da Veiga; Trindade, Thiago Gomes da; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8178-0982; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5992470800302814Total or partial loss of teeth causes great harm to the individual and may have a negative impact on quality of life. Despite the advances obtained through the National Oral Health Policy, Brazil is still marked by the large amount of tooth loss. The aim of the present study was to analyze the socioeconomic and health care factors associated with edentulism in Brazil. Cross-sectional study, using data from the 2019 National Health Survey (PNS) of individuals aged 15 years and over, totaling 90,846 respondents. Binomial descriptive and multivariate analysis was performed considering the requirements of complex samples., assuming a significance of 5% and a CI of 95%. A higher prevalence of edentulism was observed in older people, with lower income, female, uneducated, living in the interior, who had last visited the dentist more than three years ago and who had registered with Primary Care in Health. Edentulism in Brazil is related to worse socioeconomic conditions and difficulty in accessing dental treatment, which indicates the need to strengthen its national oral health policy.Master Thesis Atenção à criança com transtorno do espectro autista na estratégia saúde da família: análise do cuidado e capacitação das equipes(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-04-13) Antunes, Mirelle Medeiros; Santos, Paula Fernanda Brandao Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0414246002092813; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5708-8160; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5601026590832843; Bosco Filho, João; Chagas, Maristela Inês OsawaIntroduction: Autistic Spectrum Disorder is a condition that has affected one in every 160children in the world, according to WHO data. Its early identification makes it possible toinitiate interventions that may favor better child growth and development. In the Family Health Strategy, through actions such as monitoring growth and development, health professionals can contribute to this identification and early intervention to improve child development. Objective: Analyze care for children with ASD in the ESF and promote training for teams. Method: This is an exploratory, descriptive and intervention study with a qualitative approach. The research was carried out in the municipality of Jucurutu, Rio Grande do Norte, which has an estimated population of 18,295 thousand inhabitants and 09 ESF linked, 04 of which in the rural area. The research participants were professional nurses and physicians linkedto the teams. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with professionals. In the second stage, a training meeting was held on the identification of ASD in primary care. Results: 9 nurses and 7 doctors participated in this research. In the qualitative analysis carried out from the interview with the professionals, three categories of analysis emerged: consultation to monitor the growth and development of the child in the PHC; Care given to children with suspected or diagnosed ASD in the PHC and care network; and, finally, knowledge and training of health professionals to care for children with ASD. The second stage consisted of a training meeting with the participation of 36 professionals, including: physicians, nursing professionals, oral health teams and community health agents. The meeting lasted 04 hours and addressed the following theme: Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Child Health in the municipality of Jucurutu. FinalConsiderations: It is observed that professionals from the Family Health Strategy in the municipality of Jucurutu report little experience in the early identification of ASD and in the monitoring of these children by the ESF. There is a need for permanent health education actions that can contribute to the qualification of care in PHC, especially with regard to children with ASD.Master Thesis Pré-natal odontológico em um município de grande porte do nordeste brasileiro(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-03-24) Silva, José Saturnino da; Brito, Ewerton William Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9231534049172677; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0860192606569013; Pessoa, Daniela Mendes da Veiga; Silva, José Adailton da; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6037-7649; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0353536075419724The dental prenatal care (PNO) in the family health strategy (ESF) has as its initial milestone for its institution the guidelines of the national oral health policy published in 2004, which encouraged the expansion of dental services for pregnant women. Prenatal dental care in Brazilian municipalities has faced numerous barriers to its consolidation. The coverage of this service is still considered low, and dentists find it difficult to be included in the teams that provide care to pregnant women, performing the care in isolation, focusing on curative actions. This work aims to know how the dentists of the family health strategy (ESF) of the city of Parnamirim/RN have performed the dental prenatal care. This is a quantitative and descriptive study with a cross-sectional design, carried out with 36 dentists. The data were collected from a semi-structured questionnaire, prepared by the researcher and guided by the current literature, using a Likert scale, with the objective of questioning the dental surgeons about conceptions, behaviors and work processes during the dental prenatal care within the ESF. The Microsoft Excel program was used for tabulation and analysis, with the support of the free software R Studio. It was found that 86% of the participants perform dental care to pregnant women, 39% of them eventually contemplate both individual and collective actions in their practice. For 44% of the interviewees, the educational actions are performed more frequently than the curative actions; 75% do not perform home visits to puerperal women, and 50% do not participate in groups for pregnant women. It is concluded that it is necessary to enhance the use of tools or strategies to increase the adherence of pregnant women to the PNO, there is a need for balance between the actions performed, whether collective, individual, curative or preventive. Practices that mainly involve interprofessional planning and joint actions, such as groups for pregnant women, shared consultations, and puerperal home visits are not consolidated in the routine of the dental surgeons of the municipality’s ESF. The permanent/continuing education involving the theme needs to be included in the professionals’ calendar, however, it has been given little or no value by the management.Master Thesis Concepções e desafios para a organização dos cuidados paliativos no contexto da estratégia saúde da família em um município do nordeste do Brasil(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-03-28) Morais, Ione Cléa da Costa; Amorim, Karla Patricia Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6339836465951509; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8859-9545; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8827899127141711; Bosco Filho, João; Freitas, Cláudia Helena Soares de MoraisPalliative Care is part of the activities and actions of Primary Health Care and must contemplate the continuous and integrated care offered in the scope of the Health Care Network. The interest for the theme arose from professional experience during performance as a nurse in a basic unit of family health in the second largest city of the state of Rio Grande do Norte in northeastern Brazil. This is a qualitative research, of the case study type, of exploratory and descriptive nature, with the intention of understanding which knowledge, practices, support and difficulties the professionals/managers face in the practice of palliative care in their daily work. The research was carried out with 15 professionals, 11 of whom are assistance professionals and 4 management professionals. The method of analysis of the empirical data obtained from the interviews was the content analysis, based on 3 thematic categories: a) Understanding of palliative care (divided into two subcategories: a.i) What is palliative care; and a.ii) The benefits of palliative care and for whom it is intended); 2) The knowledge and practice of palliative care in the reality of the ESF; 3) Supports and challenges for a palliative care practice in the ESF. It was observed that the limitations of resources, management support, training and knowledge on the theme end up reducing the offer of this service in the municipality in question. These observations are, therefore, sensitive indicators of problems of access to palliative care and, consequently, of the integrality of care. For palliative care to be produced in Primary Health Care, it is essential that the team has the support, knowledge, skills, attitudes, and makes use of instruments that enable the materialization of this practice within the primary health care team. In this sense, given the results found, there is an urgent need for the structuring of a care policy that contemplates palliative care in the municipality.Master Thesis Qualidade dos registros na assistência de enfermagem às pessoas com úlceras venosas na Atenção Primária à Saúde(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-03-17) Lins, Maria da Luz Bezerra Cavalcanti; Silva, Dany Geraldo Kramer Cavalcanti e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8363044275404035; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4220097839069988; Oliveira, Francisca Jacinta Feitoza de; Torres, Gilson de Vasconcelos; Trindade, Thiago Gomes da; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8178-0982; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5992470800302814Chronic injuries cause physical, psychological, social and economic changes for the individual/family, and increase the costs of health services due to their chronic nature. The quality of the records makes it possible to monitor the evolution of the case, favoring comprehensive care. Thus, the objective was to analyze the quality of nursing records for people with venous ulcers in Primary Care in Natal/RN. To this end, a survey-type, descriptive, exploratory and cross-sectional study was carried out, with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Nursing professionals who treat users with VU participated in the research. The study had 23 Basic Health Units as a scenario, covering the five health districts of the municipality. Data were collected with the application of a questionnaire structured in closed and open questions (sociodemographic aspects and on records in the care of people with VU), applied on the Google Forms platform. Most respondents were female (93.93%); aged between 20 and 45 years (63.63%). With regard to nursing care records, 30.30% recorded properly, including information about the affected limb, the edges and the wound bed. Regarding the evolution of the lesion, 15.15% recorded it properly, considering the location of the lesion, the characteristics of the limb, the perilesional area, the edges, the size and depth of the lesion, characteristics of the bed, evolution, response or not to coverage indicated. About the guidelines, 21.21% instruct about healthy habits, risk of relapse and general health status. Furthermore, on how the surveyed professionals evaluate their records, 54.54% called them inadequate, superficial. Therefore, it can be inferred that although more than 50% of study participants recognize the importance of nursing records, research has shown that these are incipient. Thus, it is necessary for managers and professionals to articulate spaces for discussion on the implementation of public policies that favor human and material resources to effectively meet the demand, because in order to face the various health problems, whether morbidity or mortality, it is necessary to It relies on a reliable information base that sustains and directs decision-making.Master Thesis Utilização do prontuário eletrônico do cidadão no município de Parnamirim-RN: percepção dos profissionais da Atenção Primária em Saúde(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-03-07) Ferreira, Amanda Pereira; Silva, Dany Geraldo Kramer Cavalcanti e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8363044275404035; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3817690918362364; Brito, Ewerton William Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9231534049172677; Morais Filho, Luiz Alves; Bezerra, Hellyda de SouzaThe use of information technology in the health area is growing and there are countless possibilities and benefits related to its use. PEC is a software developed with the objective of integrating and sharing health information in the context of Primary Care, qualifying the clinical record and enhancing disease prevention, health promotion and care management by teams in Basic Health Units. The research aimed to analyze the perception of Primary Health Care professionals about the implementation process and use of the PEC. Survey-type, exploratory and transverse study, with a quantitative approach, with professionals working in Primary Health Care (PHC) in the city of Parnamirim (RN) as study participants. For data collection, an adapted questionnaire was used with assertive questions standardized on a Likert-type agreement scale. The data obtained through the completed questionnaires were typed and tabulated in the SPSS 26.0 software and analyzed based on descriptive statistics and inferential analysis using Pearson's chi-square test (x²), assuming a significance of 5% (p≤0 .05). Most respondents were female (76.6%), aged between 31 and 50 years (61.7%). Of those interviewed, 67% agreed that PEC is easy to use, 75% agreed that PEC allows you to complete tasks faster, and 75% said that PEC ensures better job performance. Overall, 96% agree that PEC is useful for work. Through the analysis of Pearson's chisquare test (x²), a relationship was verified between the improvement of work performance, with the ease of use of the system, little time to learn it, as well as the little effort for its understanding, thus contributing to services carried out quickly and productivity gains. Therefore, it can be inferred that the use of the PEC was well accepted by the professionals, bringing greater agility and efficiency to the work in AB. In this sense, it is important that managers and professionals articulate spaces for discussion about the use of this tool, since it is necessary to regulate the use of technology to enjoy its benefits.Master Thesis O acompanhamento das pessoas com hipertensão e/ou diabetes pelas equipes da Estratégia Saúde da Família no contexto da pandemia de Covid-19: limites e possibilidades(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-03-29) Cavalcante, Tallita Mayara Fernandes de Brito; Silva, José Adailton da; Clemente, Heleni Aires; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2608192490586369; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6037-7649; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0353536075419724; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2033-6073; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1485042325626613; Tavora, Rafaela Carolini de Oliveira; Moura, Talita Helena Monteiro deCovid-19 is an acute respiratory infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, with the potential for seriousness, high transmissibility and global distribution. Data on the disease indicate that the elderly and people with pre-existing clinical conditions, such as diabetes mellitus and arterial hypertension, are at high risk of developing the severe form of the disease. In view of the health emergency situation, recommendations for the prevention of contagion by covid-19 were adopted, among them social distance and the reinforcement of hygiene measures. Primary Health Care plays a fundamental role in caring for people with chronic diseases as it coordinates care and organizes Health Care Networks, especially in the context of the pandemic. With some restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the number of people with arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus who attended Primary Health Care services in 2020 had a 34% reduction when compared to 2019. With the objective of analyzing the work process of family health teams on the follow-up of people with hypertension and diabetes in the city of Natal in the context of the covid-19 pandemic and to identify successful experiences in coping with health emergency situations, a descriptive exploratory study of the case study type was carried out , qualitative. The focus group technique was used with health professionals, managers and community leaders linked to two Family Health Units in the city of Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte/Brazil. Under the content analysis, two thematic categories were produced. The results showed that there was a loss in the monitoring and access of people with hypertension and diabetes to the Basic Health Units, causing a break in the continuity of care and the consequent decompensation of people with such clinical conditions. The context of the pandemic required the teams to readjust the work process in order to guarantee the continuity of care and greater empowerment of users and family members in the care of chronic conditions.Master Thesis Educação permanente no cotidiano das equipes da Atenção Básica: reflexão-ação dos profissionais(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-03-31) Souza, Licaonia Mara de; Gondim, Grácia Maria de Miranda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8361045312016183; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4146-1148; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3047012023542391; Azevedo, Diana Paola Gutierrez Diaz de; Bosco Filho, João; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3068285662145237Permanent Health Education (PHE) is an important ally in the knowledge of the professionals who are part of the Primary Care teams, being a tool of great encouragement to improve the work process of the teams. The objective of the study is to analyze the perception of Primary Care professionals in the municipality of Sousa/PB on Permanent Health Education for the elaboration of an Action Plan. This is a research with a qualitative approach, with a descriptive and participatory nature with the design of action research. The participants were coordinators and professionals of Primary Care in the municipality of Sousa/PB. The data collection procedure followed four steps and the data were analyzed using content analysis according to Bardin. The results indicate that PHE still needs to be understood and strengthened, so that it can be effectively present in the teams' daily lives. This is due to the fact that there was an understanding of concepts and practices involving EPS by the actors involved, still far from what is proposed by the National Policy on Permanent Education. Thus, it is important to emphasize that there is a need for leveraging and articulation strategies that can favor the strengthening of PHE, in all Primary Care teams. The product of the master's degree was an Action Plan to strengthen Permanent Education in the municipality of Souza/PB, as a relevant tool for this purpose, whose execution can follow the fulfillment of the National Policy on Permanent Education in Health (NPPEH). It is suggested to promote spaces and meetings between professionals at all levels of care so that they can strengthen this approach for the transformation of professional practices within their territories.Master Thesis Conhecimento sobre alimentação infantil dos agentes comunitários de saúde de uma região de saúde no estado da Paraíba(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2022-11-24) Silva, Liliane Cecília da; Pedraza, Dixis Figueroa; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2366-5633; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3598434979136858; Costa, Luciana Ellen Dantas; Rosendo, Tatyana Maria Silva de Souza; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6131-3201; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4946747115155324The knowledge of the Community Health Agent regarding infant feeding may influence breastfeeding practices. The present study aimed to identify the level of knowledge about infant feeding of community health agents who work in the Primary Care in the municipalities of the 4th Health Region of the state of Paraíba and its association with demographic and professional characteristics. This is a cross-sectional study, in which a validated, adapted questionnaire was applied to verify their level of knowledge regarding infant feeding. This level was expressed through a score of 0-21. The t-test for independent samples was used to verify differences in the Mean ± Standard Deviation of the level of knowledge according to demographic and professional profiles. Community health agents have shown a satisfactory level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. Limited knowledge was evidenced in relation to predominant breastfeeding, the adequate form of storage and supply of expressed breast milk, the introduction of complementary foods from 6 months onwards, and the age at which the child should be supplemented with vitamin A. The level of knowledge of community health agents was 11.9 ± 2.86, with no significant differences according to demographic and professional profiles. It is concluded that their level of knowledge about infant feeding is adequate in relation to exclusive breastfeeding, but inadequate for predominant breastfeeding and complementary feeding.Master Thesis Avaliação da qualidade da Estratégia Saúde da Família na atenção ao usuário com diabetes mellitus durante a pandemia de Covid-19(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2022-12-20) Alves, Amara Kizzi de Almeida; Silva, José Adailton da; Clemente, Heleni Aires; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2608192490586369; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6037-7649; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0353536075419724; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9358-3035; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7440362303988410; Silva, Janaina Paula Costa da; Santos, Paula Fernanda Brandão Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0414246002092813Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic syndrome, which has a high worldwide prevalence and is related to high rates of morbidity and mortality, being a threat to public health. Health services, especially Primary Health Care, must be prepared for quality monitoring of people with this condition. In the context of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the essential attributes and derivatives of Primary Health Care become even more necessary to be achieved and evaluation in the emerging context is essential. Thus, we sought to evaluate the quality of the Family Health Strategy in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte in the care of individuals with Diabetes mellitus in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, identifying the factors associated between quality and glycemic control. For this, a cross-sectional observational study with a quantitative approach was carried out in which 120 subjects were evaluated through the application of the general structured questionnaire and the instrument for evaluating the quality of Primary Care (PCATool-Brasil), in addition to the retrospective analysis of the records made in medical records of users diagnosed with Diabetes mellitus. The Poisson model, with robust variation, was used for multivariate analysis. The result of the general score of the PCATool-Brasil indicated that 70% of the sample evaluated the quality of the Family Health Strategy as satisfactory, with a score ≥ 6.6. However, it showed an unsatisfactory assessment of the attributes available services, services provided and community guidance. Inadequate glycemic control was present in 64.2% of the subjects. However, having a service with a high degree of orientation towards Primary Care did not show a significant difference in relation to services with a low degree of orientation regarding glycemic control. After the adjusted multivariate analysis of the managements, the request for the lipid profile maintained a statistical difference (PR=0.762; 95%CI 0.630-0.921); guidance on the correct use of medication (PR=0.693; 95%CI 0.502- 0.956); encouraging the practice of physical activity (PR=0.862; 95%CI 0.781-0.951); referral to an ophthalmologist (PR=1.169; 95%CI 1.016-1.344); consultation with an ophthalmologist (PR=1.209; 95%CI 1.063-1.376) and follow-up with a nutritionist (PR=0.864; 95%CI 0.768-0.972). The results found showed a strong orientation to Primary Health Care from the perspective of diabetic users, although it is necessary to invest in promotion and prevention actions, and in the recognition of the family context and the encouragement of community participation. While the practice of guidance in Primary Health Care on the topics correct use of medications and practice of physical activity, in addition to nutritional monitoring with a specialized professional, were highlighted as a protective factor for glycemic control.Master Thesis Avaliação da qualidade da assistência pré-natal no município de Tangará/RN(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2022-09-29) Palhares, Ylana Laíne Medeiros Lourenço; Santos, Paula Fernanda Brandão Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0414246002092813; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2730070560106205; Pedraza, Dixis Figueroa; Pinto, Erika Simone Galvão; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0205-6633; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2135320432342059; Chagas, Maristela Inês OsawaPrenatal care aims to ensure the healthy development of pregnancy and enable the birth of a healthy baby. The quality of this care plays a decisive role in maternal and neonatal mortality. From this perspective, quality assessment processes in health services are necessary and important to identify weaknesses and draw up proposals for decision making by management and professionals. Inserted in this theme, the present study aimed to evaluate the quality of prenatal care in the city of Tangará/RN. This is an evaluative study of the normative and cross-sectional type, with a quanti-qualitative approach, based on semi-structured interviews with 11 professionals from family health units and 21 users who gave birth between the months of October and December 2021. Information was also collected from the systematic observation of the units and from the pregnant women's booklets. Data collection occurred from January to March 2022. In this study, the quality of prenatal care was assessed using an index based on the Donabedian triad "structureprocess-result" that classifies prenatal care into four categories (superior adequate, when there is 100% adequacy; adequate, when adequate items represent 75% or more; intermediate, from 51 to 74% of adequate responses; and inadequate, when 50% or less of the responses are adequate). Data analysis was done using SPSS software and content analysis. The classification of prenatal care was categorized as intermediate for adequacy of prenatal care, showing weaknesses. The components "process" and "results" were the ones that stood out the most in terms of weaknesses. The "structure" component showed weaknesses in ensuring access to basic tests recommended for prenatal care. Regarding the "process", the low coverage of pregnant women meeting the goals of the Prenatal and Birth Humanization Program, the low performance of clinical-obstetric procedures by professionals to assess maternal-fetal health, the low multiprofessional performance, and the low performance of educational activities for pregnant women were observed. The "results" component showed weaknesses in the guidance given to pregnant women, as well as the guarantee, by the service network, of access and accessibility to reference services, in the case of high-risk prenatal care. The weaknesses found by the index based on the triad corroborated the results obtained by the interviews conducted with professionals and users. Therefore, there is an urgent need for these aspects to be considered for the planning and development of actions aimed at maternal and child health, specifically in prenatal care in primary health care, since these aspects interfered directly in the adequacy and quality of usual risk prenatal care in the municipality surveyed.Master Thesis O cirurgião-dentista e o trabalho interprofissional na Estratégia Saúde da Família(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2022-10-04) Godoi, Nadeli Laryssa da Silva; Brito, Ewerton William Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9231534049172677; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6536948990092082; Silva, Jaqueline Alcântara Marcelino da; Santos, Paula Fernanda Brandao Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0414246002092813Interprofessional work represents the search for comprehensive care, in which different professions work together and in interdependence, sharing common goals, recognizing the importance of each other and forming a team identity. This study aimed to analyze dentists' understanding of interprofessional work, verify whether they were involved in interprofessional practices with their teams, analyze the potential and difficulties encountered, in addition to identifying whether there is a presence of interprofessional health education in the training of these professionals. This was a descriptive cross-sectional study with quantitative-qualitative approaches, carried out with 33 dentists working in the Family Health Strategy of a municipality in the metropolitan region of Natal/RN. As collection instruments, an electronic questionnaire prepared by the author was used with questions about interprofessional practices and education using the Likert scale and a semi-structured interview script with questions about the professional profile, and interprofessional work with its potential and difficulties, including the impacts of COVID-19. Data collection was carried out in February and March 2022, after carrying out a pilot study. The quantitative data obtained were tabulated and analyzed descriptively in Microsoft Excel with the support of the free software R Studio for drawing up the graphs; the qualitative ones were transcribed and submitted to Bardin's content analysis. The results showed that interprofessional practices are already part of dentists' work processes, such as home visits and participation in care groups, while isolated work and hierarchy within teams make these practices difficult. Most respondents understand what interprofessional work is and described as potentialities: comprehensive care, information sharing, dialogue and professional interest. As obstacles, the lack of management incentives, the lack of inputs and infrastructure, in addition to the absence of interprofessional training, were also reported. The importance of interprofessionality was experienced in the COVID-19 pandemic, with the participation of dentists in activities with other professionals, despite specific dental losses. Learning and interprofessional practices aim to develop critical reflections that have a positive impact on work processes. However, there is a need for interest and support from those involved in the health system: professionals, managers and users, so that interprofessionality is widespread and effective.Master Thesis A prática do yoga para saúde mental dos profissionais de saúde em meio a pandemia da Covid-19(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2022-09-22) Cavalcante, Debora Katielly; Bosco Filho, João; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9041-4685; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8364324954541848; Sampaio, Ana Tania Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1352101513334877; Nelson, Isabel Cristina Amaral de Sousa RossoThe current scenario of the Covid-19 pandemic has had an intense impact on the ways of living life in society. The health crisis required reorganization of work processes in health, in particular, of those who work in the so-called front line of the fight against the Coronavirus. The demands imposed in the work context, associated with the fears and anguish experienced by health workers had a direct impact on their mental health, requiring effective care strategies. In this scenario, Integrative and Complementary Practices (PICs) emerge as important care tools, contributing to the effective improvement of mental health. Given this reality, the study aims to analyze an intervention with yoga through the impacts on the mental health of primary care health workers in Assú/RN who are on the front line of combating Covid-19. The study uses an interventional research approach, whose data will be analyzed through a qualitative approach. The study was carried out in two Basic Health Units (UBS) located in the urban area of the city of Assú/RN and has as investigated health workers of primary care of two units of Assú/RN. In the data collection, structured questionnaires were used with both closed and open questions related to the mental health of health workers in the period of the Covid-19 pandemic. The first questionnaire was carried out before the intervention activities with the use of integrative practices and the second after carrying out these activities, aiming to identify the impact of the intervention on the mental health care of these workers. Furthermore, the study was carried out under ethical precepts, whose Certificate of Presentation of Ethical Appreciation is registered at number: 55529821.0.0000.5292, having obtained approval for its accomplishment. The intervention with yoga allowed a significant improvement, according to what was reported by the participants, in the levels of stress, anxiety, physical tiredness and emotional tiredness. In this sense, the intervention through yoga with the health workers of two UBS in Assu/RN, carried out in the meetings, brought some changes to the physical, psychological and emotional condition of the participants, among which we can highlight: greater relaxation, greater quality sleep, more self-knowledge (mind and body), improvement in mood, improvement in work activities, reduction of anxiety and stress, balance and positive feelings. Finally, it was concluded that yoga is an effective technique for the care, prevention and promotion of the mental health of workers who were facing Covid-19 during the pandemic and, therefore, was strongly impacted. It is extremely important that these activities can be carried out continuously with the health team. In addition, when medical, psychological or psychiatric follow-up is required, PICs should not replace or eliminate these treatments, but rather be used together with them.Master Thesis Atenção primária à saúde e a sua atuação no cuidado integral e intersetorial à mulher em situação de violência(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2022-09-02) Santos, Theônia Raquel dos; Amorim, Karla Patricia Cardoso; Ferreira, Maria Ângela Fernandes; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6142-948X; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4036539286429296; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6339836465951509; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4527-2205; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4728608910615351; Monteiro, Claudete Ferreira de Souza; Santos, Paula Fernanda Brandão Batista dosDomestic and family violence is a serious public health problem in the world, constituting one of the main aspects of violation of human rights, as it affects health, physical integrity, the right to life. The objective of this study is to analyze the role of Primary Health Care in the care of women in situations of domestic and family violence in the city of Parelhas/RN, from the perspective of intersectoriality and comprehensive care. This is a descriptive and exploratory research, with a qualitative approach. The investigation took place between February and March 2022, through the use of a field diary and semi-structured individual interviews with professionals who work in the Basic Health Units, in the Expanded Nucleus of Family Health and Primary Care. and in the Health Management of the municipality. 7 professionals who are part of the Primary Health Care participated in the research. The results demonstrate a fragile, disjointed network, without established flows and protocols, in which the dialogue between services is limited to individual referrals. In addition, Primary Health Care professionals find it difficult to identify most of the services that make up the care network, making it impossible to offer a quality and resolute service. However, they point to potentialities, such as the recognition of the strategic and important role of Primary Health Care as a gateway for women in situations of violence. There is an urgent need to strengthen public policies and the service network for these women, being essential to offer permanent education and the construction of spaces that allow health professionals to exchange experiences and opinions, carrying out self-assessment and reflecting on the limits and individual capabilities.Master Thesis C&D integrativo: contribuições para o cuidado da criança em uma unidade básica de saúde(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2022-09-22) Lima, Thallita Monalisa Sizenando Souza; Sampaio, Ana Tania Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1352101513334877; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9665122510572366; Nelson, Isabel Cristina Amaral de Sousa Rosso; Bosco Filho, JoãoThe child psychomotor development can be affected by several factors, being observed in the daily life of the Basic Health Unit of Góes, Rural Area of the municipality of Apodi in Rio Grande do Norte, a considered number of complaints of mothers related to child development. Considering auriculotherapy as one of the Integrative and Complementary Practices (PICS), officially inserted in the Unified Health System (SUS), this study aims to analyze the contribution of auriculotherapy in the mental health of family caregivers of bedridden people registered in the SAD in the municipality of Assú-RN. This is action research with an evaluative study, of the before and after type, carried out from November 2021 to January 2022. Twelve cases of family caregivers were analyzed, before and after auriculotherapy sessions, following the Protocol for Integrative Humanescent Reception (PAIH). Data were collected before and after the therapeutic intervention of applying auriculotherapy, which initially enabled a profile study, followed by listening, with Bardin's content analysis. The research was approved by the Research Ethics Committee (CAAE: 51956921.7.0000.5292). The results indicated significant improvement in the well-being, emotional and physical state of the family caregivers analyzed. We conclude that auriculotherapy minimizes the effects of external stressors on the integrative health of the Family Caregiver. It has been shown to be very effective for use in Home Care and it is hoped that this interventional study will encourage further research on the use of PICs, as well as for this specific audience, since the literature lacks interventions directed to the Family Caregiver.Master Thesis A atuação da atenção primária à saúde no cuidado à mulher em situação de violência no interior nordestino(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2022-09-02) Farias, Priscilia Janaina Dantas de Lima; Ferreira, Maria Ângela Fernandes; Amorim, Karla Patricia Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6339836465951509; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6142-948X; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4036539286429296; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1243-7694; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1145403943466244; Santos, Paula Fernanda Brandão Batista dos; Monteiro, Claudete Ferreira de SouzaThe objective of this study is to analyze the role of Primary Health Care in the care of Women in Situations of Domestic and Family Violence in the city of Assú/RN, from the perspective of intersectoriality and integrality of care. This is a descriptive and exploratory research, with a qualitative approach. The investigation took place in April 2022, through the use of a field diary and semi-structured individual interviews, developed with 8 professionals who work in the Basic Health Units and in the Health Management of the municipality. Data analyzed from content analysis according to Bardin. The results show that the role of Primary Health Care in the care of women in situations of violence is difficult to approach, demonstrated by the difficulty of identifying and recognizing violence against women in their daily lives, aggravated by the absence of an internal and external care flow. intersectoral and the lack of information and lack of knowledge on the part of professionals regarding the Service Network, its functioning and articulation, limiting referrals to certain sectors of this network. The fragility in the organization with regard to this service, added to the professionals' unpreparedness or fear of dealing with the problem, as well as the difficulty in understanding the functioning of the Service Network in dealing with violence against women, make the care fragmented and discontinuous. Thus, the need for Primary Health Care to understand its role within this network is identified based on the recognition of demands, with guidance, reception and qualified listening, procedures and appropriate referrals, from the perspective of comprehensive care.Master Thesis Cuidando do começo ao fim: concepções dos profissionais de saúde da atenção básica do município de Arez/RN sobre cuidados paliativos(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2022-09-21) Nogueira, Maria Izabel dos Santos; Bosco Filho, João; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3068285662145237; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5749894003611090; Gondim, Grácia Maria de Miranda; Nascimento, Rodson Ricardo Souza doThe increase in population aging and advances in health, science and technology that have contributed to the increasing life expectancy of Brazilians, together with the high rates of non-communicable chronic diseases, have led to an increase in the demand for palliative care, which is fundamental for the quality of life of the person and their families in the face of conditions that threaten the continuity of life. Thus, since palliative care according to the WHO definition does not necessarily have a relationship with the end of life, but with the improvement of quality of life, primary care plays an important role in this, not only in curative processes. , but also in palliative processes. This model of care must be continued not only in the hospital environment, but mainly in primary care. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyze the knowledge of Primary Care professionals about palliative care and its use in the work context. This is an explanatory study, with a qualitative approach, data collection was carried out through a semi-structured interview. The place for data collection was the city of Arez, a Brazilian municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, and the collaborators for the research were health professionals with a technical and higher level registered at the CNES in primary health care. Twenty-four primary care health professionals participated in the study. Qualitative data were analyzed through Bardin's thematic content analysis. The study obtained a favorable opinion issued by the CEP of HUOL/UFRN, under opinion number: 5,132,798, CAAE: 52747621.0.0000.5292. It was evident after the research that there is a need for reflection on the definition and training of health professionals in relation to palliative care, and all issues related to it (death, loss, grief, family), especially those in primary care. The importance of this theme must consider the epidemiological profile of the population for chronic conditions, and the growing need for palliative care, which is revealed as a challenge for everyone, as it is a new demand for care. We emphasize the need for continuity of studies related to the theme, mainly related to the implementation of Palliative Care in Primary Health Care and permanent education for health professionals.Master Thesis A efetividade do cuidado de enfermagem na melhoria da qualidade de vida de pessoas com hipertensão na estratégia saúde da família: um ensaio clínico randomizado tipo cluster(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2022-09-30) Januário, Ionara de Souza; Trindade, Thiago Gomes da; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8178-0982; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5992470800302814; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4377-4773; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4178593935588869; Gonçalves, Marcelo Rodrigues; Santos, Paula Fernanda Brandao Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0414246002092813Introduction: Systemic arterial hypertension is considered a public health problem that affects a large part of the Brazilian population, resulting in complications and deaths from cardiovascular events. The monitoring of hypertensive users in the Family Health Strategy (FHS) is essential for a better control of this pathology and consequently reduction of damages. In the FHS, the nurse must act in coordinating the care of hypertensive people. Objective: To analyze the effect of a multifaceted intervention of nursing care offered to people arterial hypertension, from the family health teams in São Caetano - Pernambuco and Jucurutu - Rio Grande do Norte, with the aim of improving the quality of life related to health of these users. Methodology: This is an epidemiological, experimental, cluster-randomized clinical trial. For the selection of the FHS and hypertensive users, the technique of simple random probability sampling was adopted. The research was composed by nurses working in the FHS of two cities (12 FHS / 12 nurses) and by hypertensive users (231 users), divided into two groups: control group and intervention group. Those in the control group were followed up through the usual nursing care, without an additional intervention from the team, and the intervention group followed the guidelines and application of the interventions recommended by the protocol of this study. Research data collection took place at two different times: at the beginning of the study (baseline) and three months after the intervention (follow-up). Results: Of the study participants, 72.3% are female, the mean age is 59 years (SE=0,9), 85.2% are overweight or obese, 69.7% do not practice physical activity, 52.4% had uncontrolled blood pressure. In the assessment of health-related quality of life, through by Miniquestionnaire on quality of life in hypertension (MINICHAL), the average General Score of quality of life mentioned by the participants was 90.5 (SE=1,0), with the Mental State domain = 92.8 (SE=1,0) and the Somatic Manifestations domain = 88.4 (SE=1,0). In addition, 32.5% of the participants reported that hypertension and its treatment affect their quality of life. For baseline and follow-up comparison, proportions/dichotomization was performed by median, obtaining good quality of life for participants in both groups. Final considerations: Seeking strategies to prevent the damage and minimize the complications of hypertension is fundamental in our clinical practice. Intervention strategies such as the protocol for nursing consultation proposed in our study, need to be discussed and used by health teams, since they are low cost and should be part of the routine and usual care to support people with hypertension. The positive results observed from a clinical and statistical point of view in both groups (control group and intervention group) demonstrate that the educational intervention offered to the nurses in the study can be repeated in the clinical practice of these professionals in the FHS.
