The Southern poet worked for over half a century with an aesthetic unified plan, like a tapestry of recurring images, in an attempt to question the concepts of reason and conscience. The poem Atavismo (1977) offers itself as a central axle to our analysis. Guided by Atavismo, this study observed the terms “madness” and “poetry” have the same genesis: an atavistic memory. In order to do so, it was necessary to consider inferences about atavism, a concept from Biology concerned to a special type of memory and about memory itself. Because its redundant insistence with the adjective “atavist” as an attribute of memory, the poet lead us to the perception that the discussion about madness/poetry turns around a collective problem, that is a social problem in relation with time and the values of time. The comprehension is that the terms madness/poetry are built as an antithesis of specific social settings like political, artistic, economic and cultural backgrounds. Trying to achieve a comprehension of such antithesis that defends more spontaneous ways of life, his work walks towards its end analyzing the tropes and aesthetical resources with which the poet embodied his plan: the child, the madman, Trebizon and other attachés in the Quintanian linguistic cast. Since we have been working with a very articulated poetics, a connected reading of the poems is desirable, which does not mean hermetic or exclusive. However, this approach does not prevent lay hold of other texts and explanatory elements that support this research with theoretical, critical, aesthetic and philosophical contributions. Therefore, the intersection of the poems with the voices of texts like Sophocles (497?-406? BC), William Shakespeare (1560?-1616), Machado de Assis (1839-1908), Mikhail Bakhtin (1895- 1975), Henri Bergson (1859-1941), Maurice Halbwachs (1877-1945), Salvador Dalí (1904-1989), Jacques Le Goff (1924-), Michel Foucault (1926-1984), Ecléa Bosi among others. Such voices promote richer critical notes about a Brazilian work spread over a lifetime in defense of a humanity beyond Cartesian logic. Therefore, being free is commonly interpreted under the concept of free-will and the category of possibility to act. Although there are predecessors in History of Philosophy, Schopenhauer refuses the thesis of free will proposing otherwise the denial of willing (to live) as the ultimate possibility for human freedom, if not the only one left. The thesis that would make him famous was deeply misunderstood and so miscarried somewhat due to the way it was many times presented by the means of exotic examples wrapped in a mystical mood besides exaltations to Eastern traditions, which may satisfy anthropological curiosity instead of being capable to satisfy the reader in a philosophical way. It seems to result from Schopenhauer s thought a kind of pessimism against life. Otherwise, typical readings on the Schopenhauerian thesis are found full of inconsistencies once closely regarded, which blame does not belong to the author but to his interpreters. A new reading about the denial of willing as the ultimate possibility for human freedom demands a criticism on the inconsistencies and prejudgments deep grounded. For this, we firstly clarify the ways of understanding the willing nothing , which cannot be reduced to the mere refusal or conformism, being instead positively understood as a special manner of willing: the admission of oneself for the sake of one is. A few more than a century later The world as will and representation came to light, Heidegger proposes in his fundamental ontology that the proper being-free concerns to originary decision by which, in anguish of being suspended in nothingness, Dasein renders itself singular as the being who is in-a-world and to-death, concluding that the ultimate possibility of freedom is being-free-to-death. Developing the hypothesis that freedom, properly understood, concerns to nothingness as to indeterminate possibilities, we seek for a dialogue between Schopenhauer s thought and existential philosophy aiming to reconstitute and overcome Metaphysics tradition turning the question about freedom into a matter of Ontology. From the factual existence perspective, as we must show, every human activity (or inactivity) is ordinarily mediated by representations, in which me and world appear as distinct entities. So, each one among determininate individuals finds itself connected to the things in the world by interest, which proper concept must be sufficiently explored. Starting from this point, we may proceed to detailed analysis of usual representations of freedom aiming their destruction by Ontology and then reaching existential thesis according to Kierkegaard and Heidegger. Turning back to the analysis of Schopenhauer s work, we conclude existential understanding of freedom as will-to-be can also be found in Schopenhauer. In this way, denial of willing means ultimate freedom once the Will turns back to its own essence by suppressing the world as representation, which means the originary absolute indetermination of the extreme possibility to-beDoctoral Thesis Cidade e identidade: discursividades imagético-espaciais e a construção da identidade espacial do Recife, Veneza Brasileira(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2011-06-22) Lins, Juarez Nogueira; Silva, Marluce Pereira da; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4463809499714404; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3990899335296722; Faria, Marilia Varella Bezerra de; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9374738955386775; Lima, Tânia Maria de Araújo; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8280794437858524; Lucena, Ivone Tavares de; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2941800746805646; Joachim, Sebastien; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8265687026301345This treatise analyzes the identitary setting called Veneza Brasileira (Brazilian Venice) which is subscribed to the discoursive materialization related to the imagetic setting (literary and mediatic) produced about the city of Recife. The main investigation of this research is to examine the way how the identitary setting called Veneza Brasileira has been constructed in the imagetic setting practices about the city of Recife in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This study is subscribed to the Applied Linguistics and considers the theoretical perspectives that come from the Cultural Studies which investigation basis is focused on authors such as: Hall (2006); Bauman (1999; 2001;2005); Silva (2000); and Castells (2000) related to the discussion over identity, as well as the discussion over Urban Studies presented in Santos (1997; 1999); Ferrara (1998); and Pesavento (2001). Moreover it is also based on the theoretical basis found in Foucault (2004; 2006; 2007). Furthermore theoretical-methodological approaches rely on the French Discourse Analysis (DA) found in Orlandi (2001); Gregolin (2007); and Courtine (2006). On being so, this treatise aims to: analyze the meaning effects over the production of the identitary setting, especially the so-called Veneza Brasileira, in the imagetic setting discoursive practices (Poems, Post Cards and Touristic Guides) which are produced over the urban setting of the city of Recife. This research is characterized by being qualitative and interpretative and the theoretical analytical approaches contributed to the reading of both poetic and iconic images presented in the excerpts of poems from the nineteenth century and early twentieth century in: Manuel Bandeira s poems, Carlos Pena Filho s poems, and João Cabral de Melo Neto s poems which were produced in the early and late twentieth century. Moreover, this study observed some photographic images in Post Cards and Touristic Guides related to the visiting of historical sites in Recife. One could conclude that the imagetic setting discourse about Recife produced different identitary effects over the so-called Veneza Brasileira along these three centuries: in the nineteenth century, the poetry constructed the utopia city along with the meaning effect of identitary unit; as for the twentieth century, one observed an oscillation between a utopia/heteroutopia city meaning effect of both united and fragmented identity, the latter one is prevalent. As for the twenty-first century, the media reconstructed over again the utopia city, and consequently, produced meaning effect of identitary unit. These same meaning effects of identity either corroborate or contradict to/with the concepts of the postmodernism over identity along these three centuries. In other words, considering the imagetic setting, this oscillation occurs in the proportion of one finds an (ex) inclusion of social agents that construct these same identities.Master Thesis O ritual simbólico do Ctrl+C (copiar ) e Ctrl+V (colar) no ensino médio(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2012-03-16) Amorim, Corina de Sá Leitão; Lima, Maria Hozanete Alves de; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6169626776821393; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6521023846747922; Duque, Paulo Henrique; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0409894285408135; Oliveira, Eduardo Calil de; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6822339713125905Nowadays, technology has a direct influence on the relationship student and teacher have with language. The internet is a powerful tool in helping work with the language and, through it, the knowledge comes to the student easily and intensely. Furthermore, this facility has enhanced and made visible what has been called, within the University community, "plagiarism generation." This work assumes that this generation has, in their written texts, symbolic movements similar to those of "copy and paste" applied to research work carried out by high school students. Taking this as starting point, this dissertation aims to analyze how high school students of the 1st year from a school in Natal (RN) construct texts, under the movements known as "Ctrl + c" and "Ctrl + v", with reference to the text of the "other". More specific issues are behind the general objective, namely: 1. how the student appropriates the source-text when he copies and pastes? 2. What are the categories of analysis that allow us to look analytically and theoretically for the "ctrl + c / ctrl + v" practice made by the student? 2. how the studies developed in the fields of "Genetic Criticism" (Grésillon, 1987), the "school manuscripts" (Calil, 2004) and "paraphrase" (Fuchs, 1982) may help in working with writing in the classroom standing as a possible way to minimize the copy and paste effects in the students texts? Thus, we observe the categories of analysis that allow us to look, theoretically and analytically, for the symbolic ritual of the "ctrl + c" (copy) and "ctrl + v" (paste) in high school. Our study shows that the student text is a "hybrid body" whose writing is a drawing entanglement because of the presence of the foreign text, verbatim, and the presence of linguistic elements to paraphrase the original text. This textual embodiment has, behind it, certain operations, namely: replacing, moving, adding and deleting statements. Given the specificity of the data and the research objectives, this study aligns with qualitative research methods (SILVERMAN, 2009) and falls within the knowledge field of Applied Linguistics, which is characterized especially by investigating problems, phenomena in which language in a real situation is taken as central (BRUMFIT, 1995).Theoretically, our work follows the approach of studies on the paraphrase (Fuchs, 1982, 1994a, 1994b; DAUNAY, 1997, 1999, 2002a, 2002b), the studies developed in the field of Genetic Criticism (Grésillon, 1987, 1994, 1992, 2008 ) and those developed by Eduardo Calil (2004) on "school manuscripts"Master Thesis Análise comparativa de traduções do Cântico dos Cânticos(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2012-07-19) Barbosa, Marcos César Tindo; Lima, Maria Hozanete Alves de; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6169626776821393; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4843144913908055; Dantas, Márcio de Lima; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4761743E7; Lima, Tânia Maria de Araújo; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8280794437858524; Silva, Severino Celestino da; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0469208960607577Master Thesis A prática de correção textual por professoras de língua portuguesa do ensino médio(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2010-05-24) Oliveira, Ariane Aparecida de; Passeggi, Luís álvaro Sgadari; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4783922T2; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7524967029528011; Paz, Ana Maria de Oliveira; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3154455138181144; Oliveira, Risoleide Rosa Freire de; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8322044453048856Cette recherche analyse les pratiques de correction de textes de l'enseignement du 1, 2 et 3 ème niveau.
