Master Thesis Nem classe trabalhadora, nem socialismo: um reflexão marxista sobre o reformismo e a transformação do PT em instrumento de administração capitalista(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2014-03-14) Chagas, Juary Luis; Santos, Silvana Mara de Morais dos; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706150547032239; ; Silva, Telma Gurgel da; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7956449229838183; Arcary, Valerio; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4593672422058186The current work examines, from a historical, theoretical and political perspective, the trajectory of the Workers Party (PT) since its foundation was proposed, during the 1970s, until its ascendancy to the central government of Brazil – based on a marxist perspective and dealing with the centrality of such a subject in Social Work – it analyses the development of reformism and the transfiguration of PT into a political instrument at the service of the capitalist mode of production. Based on bibliographical and archival research it sought: to analyze the historical, social and economic roots that gave rise to PT and created a working class organization dynamic within the party, originally classist and independent, that defended a platform based on anti-capitalist references and in opposition to the regime; to examine the internal contradictions and the process of disputes between socialist and reformist perspectives that existed within PT, of which its result lead to the denial of revolutionary marxism as a theory and consolidated a strategy with objectives directed to electoral victories, described as 'popular-democratic"; to bring up the process of adaptation of PT to bourgeois order – considering both its theoreticalpolitical reformist evolution, as well as the modification of its nature due to the objective dynamic of institutionalization, bureaucratization and material cooptation – an irreversible tendency of transformism, which turned into a tool for the management of capitalist order. The analysis that subsidizes and considers the consolidation of this metamorphosis have as their end product suggestions which indicate as final considerations the political-organizational reflexes of the process of the PT experience, already transformed into an instrument of capitalist administration, pointing to the necessity of debating the role of the left faced with the PT project of power materialized in governments of class conciliation, of its bureaucratic and politically corrupt party structure and the challenges imposed by this necessity of constructing socialist alternatives in Brazil.Doctoral Thesis Meio passo à frente e a revolução para trás: os governos petistas de conciliação de classes no Brasil (2003-2016)(2019-01-25) Chagas, Juary Luis; Santos, Silvana Mara de Morais dos; ; ; Cantalice, Luciana Batista de Oliveira; ; Silva, Andrea Lima da; ; Lima, Rita de Lourdes de; ; Ramos, Samya Rodrigues; ; Vale, Erlenia Sobral do; ; Silva, Telma Gurgel da;
