A receita: pisando alho no teatro negro com mulheres negras
(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2024-02-29) Silva, Nazaré Sodré da; Lyra, Luciana de Fátima Rocha Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5443015479907169; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2222603860741447; Coutinho, Karyne Dias; Dias, Luciene de Oliveira
This dissertation, written in the first person, takes on the characteristics of performative f(r)ictional writing (Lyra, 2020), enabling the exercise of crossroads (Martins, 1997) between: the cycle of domestic violence that occurred in my family life; The performative soil entitled A Receita (Santos, 2010), which addresses the vulnerable situation of a black woman in a state of revolt against structural machismo and aspects of the Purple Hibiscus (Adichie, 2011). The f(r)iction (Lyra, 2011; 2015) between the life that experienced violence and the works that portray violence, combined with Spiral Time (Martins, 2021), brings these strands closer to mirroring that create the atmosphere of the experience of the past, present and future simultaneously, while also sustaining our stories for ourselves, as in an aquilombamento (Nascimento, 1985; Dias, 2022). Methodologically, the research will start from reflections on black theater (Lima, 2011), (Barbosa, 2021) and black feminisms (hooks, 2013; Gonzalez, 1979; 1984; 2018; Collins, 2017; Carneiro, 2003). As well as, by way of practice, will articulate presentations of the show A Receita in the composition of the Performic Research (Fernandes, 2014), with the workshop entitled by Pisando o Alho carried out for black women in the metropolitan region of Recife. These articulated actions aim to open the way for reflections on how black theater based on a poetics of the body and ancestry (Santos, 2015) can counteract violence by providing stimulation of the social healing of black women.

From original perspectives, this study documents the artistic and educational processes involved in the craftsmanship of creating a HOMOSERIDOENSE body-territory. These writings emerge from a feminine, backcountry, restless and exploratory body, which transforms into art through the experiences and inspirations of the Sertão do Seridó Potiguar, a region located in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte (RN). This research is motivated by the desire to share autobiographical feelings, reflecting on the experiences of my body as an artist and educator, inspired by the knowledge of other country women from Seridó. By delving into the crafts of the Homoseridoense body-territory, I also intend to question and subvert the colonial narratives that historically tried to silence the voices and existences of the countryside. Based on the methodology of Poetic Construction (MACHADO, 2017) and counter-colonial practices (SANTOS, 2019), my objective is to contribute with creations that value the sertaneja culture of Serido, placing them at the focus of artistic, environmental and educational discussions. Art, in this context, becomes not only a means of expression, but also an act of resistance and claiming identities. I therefore seek to radiate the knowledge and traditions of my community, especially to students who, like me, migrated from the interior to the capital in search of better opportunities. As an artist and educator from Serido, I delve deeply into the cultural, historical, social, political and environmental dynamics that shape this territory.

The focus of this study is centered on exploring Teatro Multissensorial, following an itinerary of experimentation and discoveries of theatrical practices with or without the leading of vision, culminating in the staging (2019) and remounting (2022) of the spectacle SonhAlice, inspired by the work of Lewis Carroll (1832-1898). We seek to analyze accessible multisensory tools related to the presence/absence of vision in the theatrical scene, as well as understand spectators' perceptions to improve the technique and contribute to studies in the area of theatrical accessibility. As a methodological foundation, we adopted Brad Haseman Performative Research (2015), which is guided-by-practice. The reflective path constructed is organized, taking as references the experiences built during the period of the degree in theater, at the Universidade Regional do Cariri (URCA) and in the Teatro e não Vidência Extension Project of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), already in the context of the Pós-Graduação em Artes Cênicas (PPGARC). As a result, we implemented audio description in the context of Teatro Multissensorial, which resulted in an improvement in the accessibility of cast preparation and stage reception.

(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2024-08-23) Barbosa, Janyelson Firmino Fernandes; Haderchpek, Robson Carlos; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4905-6449; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4286695631161068; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9405375384604125; Coutinho, Karyne Dias; Silva, Sebastião de Sales
This master's thesis studies the interfaces between the Performing Arts and Bipolar Affective Disorder through the analysis of the creative process “Espectro”, developed by the author of this dissertation while going through his first manic episode. Using Practice as Research as the main methodology, the study seeks to map the scenic poetics of a bipolar actor-creator, the practical developments and the particularities of the process. In a performative writing, the reflection is organized in two moments: autobiographical testimonies of the author juxtaposed with the autobiography of psychiatrist Kay Redfield Jamison (1996), reporting passages of his life with bipolarity; and the description of the practical laboratories, experiences and studies, analyzing the construction of the creative process “Espectro” in Theater, Performance and in life. This research envisages the possibility of drawing connections between creativity in bipolarity and also in the Performing Arts, becoming a reference for bipolar artists in the contemporary scene, in addition to being a unique example of how art and life can be interconnected and blur their boundaries in creative processes. Through self-knowledge and the blurring of the boundaries between art-life in contemporary times, a new look is proposed, from a neurodivergent perspective, for artistic-academic research, which invites us to transform limitations into strengths in relation to BAD.

Entremeios Poéticos proposes an immersion in the poetic territory of the Entremeios Boi and Jaraguá present in Reisado São Francisco (Mestre Tico Barbosa) and the sword battle present in Guerreiras Santa Lúcia (Mestra Lúcia Guerreira). To this end, we sought to establish a learning territory, having as poetic matrices the transmission processes in the Masters' terreiros and the memories evoked by them in the transmission processes. Through the epistemological field proposed by Armindo Jorge de Carvalho Bião's Bahian Ethnocenology (2009; 2011), we sought to dialogue with the concepts of aesthetic matrices and trajectory, considering the intersection between theater and the traditions of the Cariri region. In this way, through the teaching and learning processes in the playful terreiros of Master Lúcia Guerreira and Master Tico Barbosa, a scenic experiment entitled Entremeios Poéticos (2024) was created.

(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2024-06-10) Sá, José Walter Almeida; Coutinho, Karyne Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6013805360280552; https://orcid.org/0009-0003-8180-7112; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6178446368254112; Lewinsohn, Ana Caldas; Silva, Sebastião de Sales
This research investigates principles of creative processes in art education that emerge in artistic-pedagogical practices with black dances at school, in their relationships between body-memory (Fonseca, 2021), body-territory (Miranda, 2020) and body-screen (Martins, 2022), along with the somatic-performative methodology (Fernandes, 2014). Carried out in a class of students in the 9th year of Elementary School at Escola Municipal Celestino Pimentel (Natal-RN), the research continued in the midst of a countercolonial process (Santos, 2023), leading to black dances as the main driver of a pedagogy centered on the body and in the immersion of their confluences, which reveal themselves as possible principles of creative processes in art education, and unfold in a reflection on the school as a place of expansion, inventiveness and counter-hegemonic possibilities, rediscussing mainly the anti-racist role of art education.

(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-11-29) Morais, Cleuma Alexsandra Sousa; Marques, Larissa Kelly de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2272256149121710; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3826402196073652; Lewinsohn, Ana Caldas; Silva, Sebastião de Sales
The main theme of this work is the cultural manifestation of the Creole drum, presenting a look at the historical perspective of the Creole drum and its relationship with ancestry, with this manifestation being used as a creative element to think about a re-elaboration of this tradition of origin in society. contemporary, based on elements of the dance itself, as well as the relationship between the performer's body and her ancestries, in line with the methodological assumptions presented by professor Drª Inaicyra Falcão (2019). The research proposes to think about a creative process in dance that walks through crossroads (Rufino, 2016), in encounters between popular knowledge and practices with different perspectives for the creation of new possible paths. The research leads to a creative process that has its analyzes based on some of the seven African dance principles studied by professor Drª Maria de Lourdes Barros da Paixão (2009), namely: holistic sense, cyclical and circular form; polycentrism; dimensionality; imitation and harmony and repetition.

This study is a cartography of an artistic-pedagogical process with the poetics of Performanceclass. Examining the body and the school as landscape and socio-political space, in dialogue with discussions related to subversion (Teixeira, 2019), poetic displacement, transpedagogy (Helguera, 2011), teacher-performer (CIOTTI, 2014), flowing class (Oliveira Junior, 2013), emancipatory guidance (Ranciére, 2002), skholé (Masschelein; Simons, 2014), wandering (Kohan, 2016), performative program (Fabião, 2013), and researcher of the school ground allowed for the woven elaborations within the lines of this dissertation. The study of this theoretical framework and investigation through experience leads me to defend the idea that the performance lecture creates poetic displacements that allow the school’s subversive aspects to emerge.

Abra a cabaça! Retomando a ancestralidade materna na arte do vídeo
(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2023-11-28) Ferreira, Wislayne Pontes de Souza; Haderchpek, Robson Carlos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4286695631161068; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7433811490717445; Lyra, Luciana de Fátima Rocha Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5443015479907169; Gonçalves, Luiz Davi Vieira
The research " OPEN THE CALABASH! RETURNING MATERNAL ANCESTRALITY IN VIDEO ART " reflects on the recording and creative experimentation that unfolds from studies on ancestry. In a poetic approach, I analyze the videos "OID’ÁGUA" and "CORPO – MÃE CORPO – CRIA," audiovisual productions resulting from my creative process as an artist and mother. Perceive video not only as a practical tool but also as an essential language amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The central concept of the research is the "cabaça," acting as a metaphor connecting my ancestral origin with artistic creation and motherhood. Employing an experimental methodology, I seek to investigate myths and memories of my maternal lineage, using video as a form of artistic expression. To that end, I propose a reflection on the encounter with "Pirigo," my great-great-grandmother, in "OID’ÁGUA," the first analyzed work. In the second piece, "CORPO – MÃE CORPO – CRIA," I unveil the methodological aspects of the poetic creation of a mother's body, from the recognition of a territory in which I was created. Lastly, the "corpo cabaça," metaphor and materiality of this research, regenerates from the crossroads, enabling a poetic and imaginary restoration of a mother's body expressing itself through visual writing.
