| Portuguese Abstract: | Esta dissertação trata do estudo das faces da exclusão social na atualidade, através de um recorte espacial constituído por uma área subnormal (a Comunidade África), que aglutina esses aspectos num contexto restrito, porém, revelador a respeito de tais problemas. Através dos capítulos que se seguem, é discutida a desigualdade, a exclusão, a segregação, a socioeconomia da Comunidade África e os impactos ambientais identificados na mesma. Ao final do trabalho, são apontadas as alternativas de saída possíveis para a comunidade, sendo discutidas também proposições acerca de questões voltadas para a atenuação dos seus problemas mais relevantes |
| Abstract: | This dissertation deals with the study of the faces of social exclusion at present, through a spatial section constituted of a subnormal area (the Community Africa), which groups these aspects in a limited, but revealing, context regarding such problems. Through the following chapters, inequality, exclusion, segregation, the socioeconomics of the Community Africa, and the environmental impacts identified in this community are discussed. At the end of this piece of work, alternatives of possible solutions to the community area pointed, with also the discussion of propositions related to the questions concerning the mitigation of the most relevant problems |
