Resumo: | Recent achievements in the technological area of the car industry has brought to attention the necessity for vehicles that are more connected and supervised, with the emergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) playing a great role in such advancements and creating a sector specialized for such industry, called the Internet of Intelligent Vehicles (IoIV). Although there is already a great number of solutions for data monitoring, for instance, they are usually pre-installed in the vehicles and do not allow for much configuration, nor third party integration. This work, therefore, presents a platform that allows for data resourcing from multiple sources while providing statistical data to the final user. Furthermore, it presents the creation and implementation of a metric that uses sensor information gathered from the vehicles using OBD-II technology in order to characterize driver behavior along time, including detailed results from an experiment performed in order to validate such metric. |
