Abstract

In this journal, Jung et al. provide the first detailed quantification of receptive fields of neurons in the dorsal lateral geniculate nucleus (dLGN) of the tammar wallaby (Macropus eugenii), a large Australian marsupial of the order Diprotodontia. This study stands out not only due to the exotic species but also because of its advanced analytical approach, offering new insights into the organization of early visual pathways in marsupials
