Abstract

The project of tourist inventory aims to know the tourist potential of the municipality of Cerro Corá that integrates the Tourism Council of Polo Seridó / RN located in the interior of the State of Rio Grande do Norte. The inventory of the Municipality of the Tourism Council of the Polo Seridó / RN is of paramount importance to provide a general scenario of the inventory municipality, raising the natural and sociocultural tourism offer, as well as the basic infrastructure to support the tourist activities of this municipality, Offer tourist attractions to attract tourists and generate income and employment for the population. Contributing also to the private initiative, and public management in the decision making and planning of the local and regional tourism. In this way, reliable data were obtained for further research, so that the municipality could have more information about a whole and mainly on the tourist bias to encourage the development of this activity that generates several benefits for the population.
