| dc.description.abstract | The present study aimed to bring the ideas presented about hunger by Graciliano Ramos in Vidas Secas with that present in the poem Triste Partida of Patativa of Assaré. Therefore, it was necessary to discuss the notion of hunger, relate the scenarios where hunger is presented in Vidas Secas and Triste Partida to finally bring hunger portrayed in the two works. The texts were analysed using thematic anlysis by reduction of paraphrases in texts as proposed by Jovchelovitch and Bauer (2003). Upon the results of analyzes of the works, we observe the correlation in the following categories: fear of hunger and animalization man. The fear of hunger was presented by food shortages, btter memories of the past and lack of rain. | dc.description.resumo | O presente estudo objetivou aproximar as ideias de fome apresentada por Graciliano Ramos em Vidas Secas com aquela presente no poema Triste Partida de Patativa do Assará. Para isso fez-se necessário discutir a noção de fome, elencar s cenários em que a fome é apresentada em Vidas Secas e em Triste Partida para por fim, aproximar a fome retratada nas duas obras. Os textos foram analisados através da técnica de análise temática, por redução dos textos em paragrafes segundo proposto por Jovchelovitch e Bauer (2003). Mediante os resultados das análises das obras, observamos a correlação nas seguintes categorias: o medo da fome e animalização do homem. O medo da fome foi apresentado através da escassez de alimentos, de memórias amargas do passado e falta de chuva. Também, em ambas as obras literárias verificou-se a perda de dignidade humana, sendo os personagens moralmente humilhados pelas condições severas que a seca os impõe, chegando a animalizá-los . Por fim, depreendemos que a fome foi relatada como uma condição extrema de vida humana, que manifesta-se também nas obras de arte, que guardam em si sempre uma reflexão sobre a condição humana. Explorar este fenômeno através da literatura permite conhecer nuances - da agonia, do sofrimento e, também, da solidariedade - que não raro passam despercebidas em análises puramente científicas. | |
