With this, cities grow sometimes because of over population, sometimes because of their growing industrial centers. The major cities of today’s world focus on maintaining and expanding the industrialization process more and more, which in recent years has intensified, especially in areas involving technology, whose investments in research have advanced and leveraged the industrial economy. With industrialization, we also have another very diverse and broad concept, which is urbanization, which in many situations, there is the growth of the cities to the detriment of the countryside. The rural population migrates to the cities and begins the process of social interaction and economic relations, cities are urbanized while industrializing. For the purpose of this work, we will focus on the issue of the basic sanitation, which is fundamental for cities, given the accelerated industrial process that we live today and which is affected by the numerous problems that exist in the word and more specifically in Brazil. Sanitation is understood as sets of measures aimed at preserving the environment in order to prevent diseases and to promote the health of the inhabitants of a given region or locality. By nomenclature itself, people can understand the real importance of the application of these measures, in the other words, it is basic sanitation because they are basic measures for the population, in the sense of basic needs so that a society lives in the best possible way.
