Orientador: Dr. Jefferson Fernandes Alves. 2024. 144f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Artes Cênicas) - Centro de Ciências Humanas, Letras e Artes, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/62516The focus of this study is centered on exploring Teatro Multissensorial, following an itinerary of experimentation and discoveries of theatrical practices with or without the leading of vision, culminating in the staging (2019) and remounting (2022) of the spectacle SonhAlice, inspired by the work of Lewis Carroll (1832-1898). We seek to analyze accessible multisensory tools related to the presence/absence of vision in the theatrical scene, as well as understand spectators' perceptions to improve the technique and contribute to studies in the area of theatrical accessibility. As a methodological foundation, we adopted Brad Haseman Performative Research (2015), which is guided-by-practice. The reflective path constructed is organized, taking as references the experiences built during the period of the degree in theater, at the Universidade Regional do Cariri (URCA) and in the Teatro e não Vidência Extension Project of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), already in the context of the Pós-Graduação em Artes Cênicas (PPGARC). As a result, we implemented audio description in the context of Teatro Multissensorial, which resulted in an improvement in the accessibility of cast preparation and stage reception.
