The research is of a qualitative approach and applied nature, as from what was verified in a class from the municipal school system of Natal-RN, it intends to give a methodological suggestion to be used in this category. Among the theoretical references consulted, were essential to this study Haddad & Di Pierro (2000), Gerhardt & Silveira (2009) and Freire (2014). It was possible to verify that the problem-situation is a methodological resource applicable to many aspects of the pedagogical work with the students.
