This interest is due to the mainly computational advance and the easy access to a great amount of data, for the description and studies of several parameters. One of these areas is the Complex Systems area, which can be investigated through subareas such as Complex Networks . Networks can be classified as: Social, in which networks are comprised of e- mail messages and friendships; Biological, such as neural networks; information, academic quotes and technological, electronic circuits etc. We present in this work the historical context of Network research, from Euler’s in- vestigative works to the applications for describing real networks, such as the WWW and Twitter. With the evolution of research techniques, system analysis has become easier and more efficient.
