The objective of this study is to analyze the Brazilian productions on social inclusion that were published in scientific journals in the area of Information Science. And to achieve this objective, the following specific objectives are established: identify which authors publish the most on the topic of social inclusion in the area of Information Science; to point out which journals in the Information Science area have published more articles on social inclusion; verify which terms are more representative in productions on social inclusion in Information Science; to verify the time periods in which more was published on social inclusion in Information Science journals; and verify the relationships between authors and institutions that produce on social inclusion. Methodologically, this study is presented with a quantitative approach, having a descriptive objective, with a bibliographic procedure and applied research. For its accomplishment, a bibliometric study is used in the Reference Database of Journal Articles in Information Science. The study analyzes 103 articles, in which it was possible to obtain as main results that the terms that obtain greater representation in the explored theme are accessibility, access to information, disability etc. by Almeida Valença Cunha Barroso, Lorenna Sayonara Santos, Eliane Lourdes da Silva Moro and Ana Fátima Berquó Carneiro Ferreira. It was identified that in 2017 there were more publications of periodicals focused on social inclusion, in addition to identifying that the periodicals that stand out the most in relation to the theme are the Revista Inclusion Social and the Revista Brasileira de Biblioteconomia e Documentação.
