Therefore, this study sought to analyze the information literacy of retired civil servants at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte in their use of the SouGov application, a tool that facilitates the management of personal and functional information. To achieve this objective, the methodology adopted in this research was descriptive and exploratory in nature, with a quantitativequalitative approach. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire, and its analysis was performed using content analysis and descriptive and exploratory statistics, seeking to identify patterns and relationships among the collected information. The data analysis allowed for the identification of nuances and patterns, such as varying levels of competence, resistance or insecurity when using digital technologies, the need for specific skills, and physical and cognitive barriers, which revealed the need to create a training project aimed at this public, with the goal of digital inclusion, as well as the development of skills and abilities that promote more informed decision-making, fostering the inclusion and active participation of retired civil servants in contemporary society.pt-BRAcesso AbertoCompetência informacionalDisseminação da informaçãoAplicativo Sou.GovmasterThesisCIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS
