Whereas previously the focus was on the physical environment available, today the focus is on training employees, aiming to provide excellent service to the public. However, there is often little specific training for welcoming certain groups, such as children and adolescents, who are specific targets of vulnerable groups. The media has reported cases of abuse, kidnapping and alienation of children and adolescents, as examples. In view of this, the general objective of the research is to analyze the service and safety protocols aimed at children and adolescents that are adopted in accommodations in Natal/RN. We also sought to identify the existence of these service and safety protocols in the accommodations and relate them to their identified typologies. This research was conducted in three phases: the first consisted of research and bibliographical survey on the subject; the second consisted of data collection through questionnaires applied to the receptionists of the accommodations; and, in the third phase, data hierarchies were performed to obtain the results.
