Discriminação racial e as redes sociais: quando o preconceito rompe as barreiras do mundo real. Orientador: Profa. Dra. Juliana Teixeira Souza. 2024. 19 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em História) - Departamento de História, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/59261This article aims to discuss the presence of racial discrimination on social media and its impact on the lives of black people. The text contextualizes how the structure of racism was intentionally established and is currently reproduced routinely in digital media, without reflections on how it works. Furthermore, it addresses the importance of teaching History in the contemporary context and its role in building an anti-racist society. The article also presents ways and recommendations for influencers and profiles on social networks that can be used to challenge the paradigms that portray black people as passive subjects in the course of their own history.
