Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação), Curso de Serviço Social, Centro de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/63382The presented monograph analyzes the impact of the implementation of Agroecological Productive Gardens on the daily lives of women in the Model Settlement II, Municipality of João Câmara/RN, during the COVID-19 Pandemic, which expanded the scenario of food insecurity in the Brazilian reality, driven by a science- denying, neofascist, neoliberal and neoconservative management. The COVID-19 pandemic revealed hunger, social inequalities and several challenges for the settled families; who found an alternative in the construction of productive gardens, providing the encounter of agroecology with the popular solidarity economy. This research is conducted under the guidance of the critical-dialectical method, combined with the qualitative research methodology, through bibliographic and documentary review. The work identified positive indicators regarding the impact of productive gardens on the lives of women and the community: it enabled healthy eating; strengthened the bonds of solidarity and community organization; encouraged planting in the vicinity of family homes and promoted access to greater food biodiversity.Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/3.0/br/Serviço socialAssentamento ruralMulheresInsegurança alimentarQuintais produtivosAgroecologiaSocial ServiceRural settlementWomenFood insecurityProductive backyardsAgroecologyQuintais produtivos agroecológicos como construção do bem viver: a experiência do Assentamento Modelo IIAgroecological productive backyards as a construction of good living: the experience of the Model Settlement IIbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::SERVICO SOCIAL
