Agaricales da Serra das Confusões: novos registros para o Semiárido Piauiense, Brasil. 2025. 26 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Ciências Biológicas) – Centro de Biociências, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/65135The order Agaricales represents one of the most diverse groups within the class Agaricomycetes, encompassing a large portion of fungi that have their fertile surface, the hymenium, arranged in gills. These gills correspond to the region of the fruiting body (basidiome) where the basidia are formed, structures responsible for producing the basidiospores, which are the characteristic and exclusive spores of the phylum Basidiomycota. This study aimed to record species of the order Agaricales in the Serra das Confusões National Park, Piauí, a region that still lacks detailed mycological inventories despite its ecological relevance to the Caatinga biome. Collection, screening, and macro- and micromorphological analyses allowed the identification of seven species, with Chaetocalathus liliputianus, Cyptotrama asprata, Henningsomyces candidus, Marasmius haematocephalus, Oudemansiella steffenii, and Resupinatus applicatus representing new records for Northeastern Brazil. The results reinforce the potential of Serra das Confusões as a priority area for mycological studies, contributing to expanding knowledge of the semi-arid fungapt-BRAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/CaatingaMacrofungosTaxonomia de fungosMacrofungiFungal taxonomyAgaricales da Serra das Confusões: novos registros para o Semiárido Piauiense, BrasilAgaricales from Serra das Confusões: new records for the semiarid region of Piauí, BrazilbachelorThesisCIENCIAS BIOLOGICAS
