Interventions based on multimodal exercises associated with water and the aquatic environment can minimize the disabilities developed and contribute to improvements in several areas of functionality in this population. Therefore, this quasi-experimental study aims to analyze the effects of the aquatic therapy exercise program, bringing relevant results on pain, functionality and quality of life of people with chikungunya sequelae living in the city of Santa Cruz-RN. , where 18 individuals participated in the study, with an average age of 58 years and an average duration of 15 months, with an aquatic multimodal exercise program, namely; exercises with warming up, stretching, strengthening, perception of space, time and reaction speed. Monitoring of participants was carried out in person, weekly, at the Clínica Escola de Fisioterapia Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde do Trairi (FACISA) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. Data collection was carried out through assessment and using instruments such as the numerical pain scale (END), the Brief Pain Inventory (IBD) and the Short Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36) to assess quality of life. . Results: There was an increase in scores for all domains of the instrument, but these results were not considered statistically significant.
