Different structural alternatives are discussed for a metallic marquee, which was executed to a school entrance in Joao Pessoa/Paraíba. All steps of a steel structure project are shown and three different models for design are compared. The first one treats with the height of elements; the second one with their thickness and, finally, in third model, lateral locking system are placed.
