Ensuring leisure is directly related to the availability of appropriate spaces, however, framing the spatial cut of the Vila de Ponta Negra, Natal/RN, it is perceived a shortage of places for the realization of various community activities, as well as poor access conditions to existing places. The present work aims to develop a proposal directed towards the leisure practices of the Vila de Ponta Negra through the urban requalification of public spaces and an architectural proposal of communitarian equipment. A study of the theoretical referential was carried out, presenting the concepts of leisure, public spaces and equipment. As for the grounding of the proposals, there was an approach and analysis of the universe of study, from the historic rescue, morphological and social analysis, added to the deepening on the local public leisure, identifying spaces and equipment appropriated by the population, generating as a synthesis of this research the mapping of leisure in the Vila. Proposals for urban intervention and at the level of a building were elaborated. The project development was based on the methodology of party adoption in architecture by Laert Neves (1989).
