The understanding of how the construct of the garments takes place necessarily transforms in the knowledge of the general artistic proposition to elucidate what is particular to it. Thus, the costume becomes a creative process in its own way, and not mere adornment to the bodies as we try to show in the making of a piece under two versions chosen from the costume of the character Odette of Swan Lake for closing the clarity and The grace, in drawing and white color, the pinnacle of classical ballet, one of the icons that has been perpetuating for more than a century, and whose theme carries a history of love and the struggle between good and evil. The analysis of what is essential, the definition of the type of costume and the choice of materials - fabrics and fabrications - and the planning of a schedule can help a continuous collaboration with other elements equally composers of the scene. The special preoccupation with costume appears in the historical scene, especially with the modernization of the ballet in the early 20th century, but after a century, bibliographical contributions are rare for a discussion of an important element of choreographic work.
