In view of these objectives, quality control sector, in partnership with others sectos envolved, seeks for solving adversities caused by bad adjustments in its production processes, making constant use of quality control tools. The scope of this work is to discuss the definition, historical evolution and application of the concept of quality, as well as the main tools of quality control. According to the theoretical background, some of these quality control tools are going to be performed to find out the solution to a problematic case for the company Laminor. To achieve it, a group of employees from the sectors involved was articulated with the purpose of healing the financial loss and process of production impact that the company has been facing.
