It lists relevant aspects of the memory of a son who interprets how his insertion into the family occurred through photos taken by his father. Furthermore, places, facial expressions, objects and feelings are revived through the creative process. Therefore, this is research that is understood as theoretical-practical and that understands photography as a living element made up of meaning in the explanation of "being present" and being part of it. As a reference, we used, among others, texts by Roland Barthes and Philippe Dubois and works such as Album by Ana Casas Broda and Album de Família, by Armando Silva. The pedagogical experience, experienced between May and November 2023, was an invitation to share the learning I obtained during the construction of this research.
