Legislation aims to ensure equal rights and accessibility, but the lack of training and resources affects healthcare services for the deaf population. Nursing professionals play a crucial role in health promotion, and care is vital in the healthcare process. Objective: The study aims to train nurses and nursing technicians with digital tools to better assist deaf individuals, identifying their needs during consultations and evaluating the impact of the training on the quality of care. Method: This is a research-action study with a qualitative approach. There will be an initial evaluation of the nursing professionals, followed by a workshop on digital tools for more effective communication with deaf individuals, and a post-test will be applied afterward. Result: Training nursing professionals with a focus on digital tools for communication with deaf people is essential to promoting more inclusive and effective healthcare. Discussion: The lack of training among nursing professionals compromises the quality of care for the deaf population. The use of digital tools, such as translation apps and visual resources, has shown positive results, improving communication and increasing professional confidence. However, continued training is crucial to ensure more inclusive, efficient, and accessible care. Conclusion: Training nursing professionals with digital tools is an important strategy for improving care for the deaf population. However, it is essential that the training is continuous to overcome communication barriers and promote more equitable and high-quality care.
