This book comes with 2 audio CDs that contain these dictations recorded. The purpose of this material is to help the students of Ear Training to study outside the classroom. First the Ear Training is contextualized, and the most used exercises are explained. Later in the chapter there is a reflection on how the discipline is seen by the perspective of Musical Education, as well as how the authors in the field proposes working with it. The next chapter brings the results of a research with Ear Training music students of Escola de Música da UFRN, pointing their difficulties at musical dictation, as well as their misinformation about how to study outside theclassroom.
