The use of technological devices is often seen in a negative way, however, depending on the direction, it can help in the discovery of new knowledge with immediate connections with the school community and even outside it. Te text also analyze the difficulties that have regarding new technologies linked to students and teachers, the possible software to make art, in the case animation and the usability of these programs and devices. The work was developed from experience in the computer lab of the State School Ana Júlia de Carvalho Mousinho that was the main source of research. The objective is to analyze the production of cartoons created by a group of 30 students from the 1st grade of High School, in an animation workshop developed by cell phones and tablets, showing ways to extend the use of these tools to art classes.
