The class in which it was performed was nursery, with children aged between 3 and 4 years. The proposal of the internship was to apply a project entitled "Capoeira in Infantile Education: body and musical awareness from the movement" using capoeira as a methodological tool aiming the psychomotor development of the child, as well as their corporal expressivity. Based on the Referenciais Curriculares Nacionais da Educação Infantil – RCNEI (BRASIL 1998), and bringing a socio-interactionist perspective of Vygotsky to the context. For the development of the practice, was used, with some adaptations, the method Joke of Angola, developed by Omri Breda (2015), which emphasizes the importance of the playful in children's development. During the production, several reflections are brought about the situations in class, considering the development of the body awareness in the child and its reflections for the posteriority.
