In this context, the present study aimed to develop a business project for transforming a residential property into a drugstore located in the Lagoa Azul neighborhood, in the North Zone of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, addressing market, regulatory, structural, and financial aspects. The methodology was characterized as applied, quantitative, and descriptive research, developed through bibliographic, documentary, and market surveys. The study included an analysis of thepharmaceutical sector, the development of the basic engineering project and store layout, the estimation of implementation costs based on the National System of Construction Costs and Indexes Research (SINAPI), revenue projections, operating costs, initial inventory and working capital estimates, as well as cash flow projections and economic feasibility indicators. The total initial investment required for the project was estimated at R$ 187,051.48, including physical adaptations, legal regularization, initial inventory, and working capital. To assess economic feasibility, three revenue scenarios were considered: optimistic, realistic, and pessimistic. The indicators used were Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Discounted Payback Period, adopting a Minimum Attractive Rate of Return (MARR) of 15% per year. The results showed that the optimistic and realistic scenarios presented positive NPV, IRR above the adopted MARR, and recovery of the invested capital within the five-year analysis horizon, indicating the economic feasibility of the project. On the other hand, the pessimistic scenario presented unfavorable results, highlighting the project's sensitivity to revenue variations. In Brazil, despite advances in reducing emissions in certain segments of the economy, the transportation sector remains one of the main contributors to carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions and energy consumption. In this context, the use of renewable energy sources to supply electric vehicles emerges as a promising alternative for reducing the environmental impacts associated with fossil fuels. This study aims to analyze the technical and economic feasibility of using wind energy as a power source for electric vehicle charging stations through the proposal of a hybrid system integrated with the conventional power grid, applied to the BR-101 highway corridor between the states of Rio Grande do Norte and Paraíba. The adopted methodology included a literature review, energy system sizing, estimation of implementation and operational costs, and economic evaluation using Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback indicators. A sensitivity analysis was also carried out considering different demand growth scenarios associated with the expansion of the electric vehicle fleet in Brazil. The results indicate that wind energy has the potential to meet a significant portion of the charging station's energy demand, contributing to a reduction in dependence on conventional energy sources and to the mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions. The objective was to model and optimize this layout through Discrete Event Simulation in the FlexSim software, creating a virtual environment to quantify efficiency gains before physical implementation and thus minimize risks and unnecessary investments. A quantitative Case Study was adopted, comprising Business Process Mapping (BPMN), statistical data collection and analysis, with validation of the Triangular Distribution for machine service times, and modeling of the current and optimized scenarios. This paper aims to present the development of LabMecSolos, a mobile application designed for the integrated management of such laboratories, adopting the requirements of ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2017 as a reference. The solution was implemented using Ionic Capacitor, React, and TypeScript technologies, structured into seven functional modules: Authentication and Profile, User Administration, Inventory Management, Testing Cycle, Scheduling and Reservations, Management Dashboard, and Unified Soil Study. The offline-first architecture, supported by a local SQLite database, ensures continuous system operation regardless of connectivity availability, with cloud synchronization planned for future work. The Unified Soil Study stands out by consolidating georeferenced data from different investigations into an interactive geotechnical map, enhancing integrated spatial analysis. In this context, this work aims to design, simulate, and implement a DC-DC SEPIC (Single-Ended Primary Inductor Converter) converter in order to validate its practical performance against the ideal theoretical model in photovoltaic applications. To achieve this objective, the analytical design of the converter components was initially carried out, followed by simulations in the MATLAB/Simulink environment to verify the system operation in both step-down (buck) and step-up (boost) modes. After the computational validation stage, the study proceeded to the implementation of a physical prototype, allowing for a comparison between the real dynamic behavior and the theoretical predictions. The experimental results demonstrated that, although the static gain followed the projected trends, factors such as resistive losses, voltage drops in semiconductor devices, and power supply limitations caused reductions in the output values. Furthermore, an efficiency higher than 90% was observed under intermediate operating conditions, while higher duty cycles resulted in performance degradation. In this context, inadequate solid waste management can cause environmental and sanitary impacts, compromising urban environmental quality and the operational conditions of businesses. Furthermore, even with advances in selective waste collection in Brazil, a large portion of solid waste still does not receive environmentally sound disposal. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) for the Hotel Porto Bello II, located in the municipality of Caicó/RN. The methodology adopted is based on bibliographic and documentary research and a technical-operational survey, including an analysis of current environmental legislation, technical standards of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), and an evaluation of the activities carried out in the lodging, restaurant, kitchen, laundry, reception, and administrative areas of the hotel. The identification, characterization, and classification of solid waste generated at the hotel were also carried out, according to the criteria established by ABNT NBR 10004:2024. Based on the information obtained, procedures related to the segregation, packaging, temporary storage, collection, and environmentally sound final disposal of solid waste generated during the operation of the enterprise were defined. The results obtained allowed the identification of the predominance of organic waste from food preparation and consumption activities, in addition to the generation of recyclable materials such as paper, plastic, glass, and metal. Based on the diagnosis carried out, a Solid Waste Management Plan compatible with the operational reality of the enterprise was developed, including measures for segregation, packaging, temporary storage, collection, and final disposal of waste, contributing to the improvement of internal management and to compliance with the environmental and sanitary requirements applicable to the environmental licensing process. The proposal was motivated by observations made in an industrial environment in which dental implants manufactured using CNC machines are manually stored in 96-position storage trays. This manual process significantly reduces efficiency, traceability, and process standardization. As an alternative, a simulated solution was developed based on a mobile platform capable of identifying, organizing, and routing each implant to one of six storage compartments according to predefined color ranges. The system architecture includes sensors, DC motors, a servomotor, a buzzer, a potentiometer, and a push-button switch. The source code was developed in C++ by implementing control logic and timing techniques. The results demonstrate that the proposed theoretical model satisfies the specified functional requirements, providing a promising foundation for future applications aimed at automating logistics processes in small-scale industrial environments. However, video-based methods present limitations in capturing fast oscillations, which restricts experimental precision. To overcome these barriers, this work aims to develop a lightweight, wireless wearable inertial device designed for continuous three-dimensional kinematic monitoring in small animal models. The experimental procedures involved hardware design using the ESP32-C3 microcontroller integrated with the MPU6050 IMU, firmware development for real-time transmission via a local Wi-Fi Access Point (AP) at 30 Hz, and the creation of a web interface for telemetry and structured data export. The validation protocol encompassed technical bench tests and an in vivo pilot test with a common marmoset (Callithrix jacchus), using a distributed ergonomic garment (cranial cap and dorsal vest) to minimize biomechanical impact. The results demonstrated successful electronic integration, operating without packet loss and with precise data export in CSV format. In the in vivo trial, the device proved its practical viability by organically recording the animal's ballistic dynamics, detecting approximately 43 head saccades and enabling Main Sequence analysis. Although the test highlighted the need for mechanical improvements to mitigate the inertial displacement of the fabric cap, the electronic system remained robust. These aspects may be associated with alterations in the medial prefrontal cortex and anterior cingulate gyrus, regions related to executive functions and visual attention. In this context, transcranial electrical stimulation (TES) has emerged as a promising alternative to enhance multidisciplinary interventions already used in ASD. The present study aimed to analyze, through eye tracking, visual attention patterns and the effects of cathodal transcranial direct current stimulation (c-tDCS) and transcranial random noise stimulation (tRNS) in children with ASD. Fourteen children participated in the study and were divided into three groups: c-tDCS, tRNS, and placebo. Participants received 20 minutes of stimulation over three weeks and were assessed using three experimental paradigms: attention to social scenes (1), preference between spinning objects and social scenes (2), and attention to emotions (3). Statistical analyses demonstrated significant differences in attention time between groups in paradigms 2 (p = .044) and 3 (p < .001). In addition, specific visual preference patterns were observed across the three evaluated paradigms. These findings suggest that TES may influence aspects of visual attention in children with ASD, especially in tasks related to social and emotional processing. The study is still ongoing, and further analyses may expand the understanding of TES effects on attentional deficits associated with the disorder.
