The most stimulating them relates to the performance with the training of teachers. We use the literature for a greater understanding of the issue and found discrepancies between the authors. Thus, this study was designed with the purpose of investigate what assumptions supporting the claims of the authors of the School Psychology consider the role of Psychologist role in Teacher Training. To ensure support for theoretical work, literature was revisited in this order: 1) an observation about the history of the School Psychology to understand the circumstances and reasons which led it to seek the prospect of action which focuses on the promotion of educational success; 2) understand the different concepts and practices in Teacher Training. European countries and the United States are the places of emergence of Psychology concerned about the school context. These countries contributed to its growth, returning for the educational field with searches that had at its heart the construction and application of psychological tests. In Brazil, the Psychology also grows from the Education, building, originally a model clinical and curative linked to psychological testing. But after the decades of 1970 and 1980 came the prospect of School Psychology Critical whose main target is to promote the teaching-learning process and the decline of the blame for the failure of the student school. Regarding the Teacher Training, literature presents different ideas about them and their implications for the practice of teachers. It turns different the initial and ongoing teacher training; addition to sharpen different models for the development of the latter: the transmission, the experiential and critical-reflective. So, to achieve the proposed objective, we looked for the production bibliographic references in the area of School Psychology to discuss or suggest the involvement of Psychologist in Teacher Training. We use the publications of the Working Group on School Psychology of ANPEPP (Associação Nacional de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação em Psicologia) and the journals of ABRAPEE (Associação Brasileira de Psicologia Escolar e Educacional). The books were published in the, 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005. As for the ABRAPEE’s magazines were selected those published in the last five years (2003 to 2007). To process the data, we use to content analysis. Initially, we take the categorical analysis of texts, identifying assumptions about the participation of psychologists in training. Later, we saw the data with a view to organize them into thematic categories. We found two categories. The first bound by the actions of the psychologist in teacher training to the history of psychology; and another, with the demands of the market. We see the superficiality way in this regard between the authors of Psychology. With this study we hope to contribute to the expansion of the discussions and elucidation of the specificity of action of the School Psychologist.Master Thesis A cronificação nos serviços substitutivos na rede de saúde mental de Natal/RN(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2009-07-24) Severo, Ana Kalliny de Sousa; Dimenstein, Magda Diniz Bezerra; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4763508E6; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5170430928839162; Yasui, Silvio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6805148444025544; Kinoshita, Roberto Tykanori; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6843487372064578Brazilian Psychiatry Reform, through Psychosocial Care Strategy, has intended to build insane people care practices from community care services which contemplates the subjects complete lives. However, to change the traditional care ways demands the facing of a series of epistemological, political and cultural obstacles. One of the current challenges deals with patients aggravation processes, with management ways, with devices and with professionals, as well as with the assistance network. The purpose of this thesis was to investigate how these aggravation processes has been constituted in Natal mental healthcare network, understanding its effects in the work teams and patients. Theoretical and methodological perspective used was Institutional analysis was, subsidizing the usage of concept-tools as the implication analysis, selfmanagement and self-analysis, and restitution. The research was carried out at the Natal East Sanitary District Mental Healthcare Clinic, with the participation of technicians and patients. The research procedures were: literature and document research on the attendance and the analyzed theme; attendance registers analysis; participating observation of the institutional routine for three months and field log entries; talking groups, one with the team and one with the patients. Two main discussion points are shown: 1. The mental healthcare clinic organization logic and the intersector politics; 2. The work and management processes developed at the mental healthcare clinic. The analysis show diversity in the attended demands in the service, which has favored the patients aggravation, this device and the substitute network processes. The work processes are apart from the political sphere and from the managements processes. In this sense, we show the need to reevaluate the clinic device as well as the management models adopted in the Brazilian Psychiatry Reform contextMaster Thesis Conhecimento sobre energia eólica: um estudo exploratório a partir das redes semânticas naturais de estudantes da cidade de Natal(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2008-03-31) Pessoa, Viviany Silva; Pinheiro, José de Queiroz; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5503576309484010; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3415987501225677; Günther, Hartmut; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6352894014134453; Pires, Izabel Augusta Hazin; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5496201609189471The human being has a fundamental role in issues concerning scarcity of energy resources as well as in the success of technologies which favor the use of renewable sources, such as wind energy. But what does wind energy mean for people? What are the psychological meanings concerning this term? Aiming to answer these questions, the general objective of this dissertation was to identify and to analyze the knowledge about wind energy taking into account a network of psychological meanings. One hundred and ninety one (191) university students from Natal-RN participated in the study, being male the majority (53%); aged between 17 and 51 years old (M=23.3 years; SD=5.7). Participants responded to self reports using the Natural Semantic Networks (NSW) technique, as well as to several sociodemographic questions. The results showed a consistent, positive and useful general semantic network. In this semantic network, knowledge about wind energy was represented by words that correspond to the appeal of (pro) environmental stance (e.g., clean and nature), that evinced both the technological aspect (e.g., force) and the economic aspect (e.g., economy). Results from different groups were also analyzed. The first set of groups (non-environemental and environmental) was divided considering the course (e.g., ecology and economy). The second set of groups(non-caretaker and caretaker) was divided based on the practice of environmental care expressed. Subtle differences were observed in the semantic networks of caretakers, who emphasized environment, an attribute not mentioned by non-caretakes. This indicates a construction of knowledge that is influenced by the presence or absence of the environmental commitment. Such findings may be useful in the construction of instruments for surveys and in the development of public and educational policies. Additionally, they may assist the media towards a more objective performance concerning wind energyMaster Thesis Caracterização das intervenções em grupo na rede básica de saúde em Natal-RN(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2006-07-12) Oliveira, Uliana Fernandes de; Traverso-yépez, Martha Azucena; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4703134T0; ; Japur, Maria; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4793722T6&dataRevisao=null; Yamamoto, Oswaldo Hajime; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4787892Z9&dataRevisao=nullMaster Thesis Precarização do trabalho no setor de supermercados : um estudo de caso com trabalhadores em Natal(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2006-07-04) Gê, Pollyanna Carvalho de Siqueira; Borges, Lívia de Oliveira; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4785961E6; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3073234303359801; Borsoi, Izabel Cristina Ferreira; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3921952621761158; Yamamoto, Oswaldo Hajime; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4787892Z9&dataRevisao=nullPrecarization of work, process situated historically after the third Industrial Revolution, express itself as one of the faces of changes in production modus and working conditions. The present study aims to identify the process of work precarization in supermarket sector in Natal municipality. The choice for this sector and professional category is based on low investment in studies on the commercial sector and on technological and administrative transformations that supermarkets have implemented. After a bibliographical review, ten indicators of precarization were chosen which permitted to set up a schedule to interviews and its application to employees of two supermarkets (local companies) in Natal area. The following working functions were chosen to participate in the survey: cashier, display assistant (shelf-stacker) and attendants (N=6). From the interviews we developed an analysis of categorical contents in order to identify the presence of precarization indicators. Categorizations allowed us to identify five major themes: work categorization; work meaning: its attributes; work meaning: work centrality; comments on the employment of apprentices or trainees; and transversal work contents. Such themes contents express or not the presence of precarization process at supermarket sector in Natal area. Precarious work is identified in participants speech when they refer to the employees decreasing power in salaries negotiation between them and employers that institute the precarious work conditionsMaster Thesis A motivação e o significado do trabalho de bancários: estudo comparativo entre dois momentos do processo de reestruturação produtiva(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2006-11-20) Varella, Janine Maranhão de Campiello; Borges, Lívia de Oliveira; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4785961E6; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1060930023330831; Coutinho, Maria da Penha de Lima; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4768103E6&dataRevisao=null; Pinheiro, José de Queiroz; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5503576309484010This master s dissertation deals with motivation and the meaning of work amongst bank employees. This is done considering a cognitive perception. Work is understood here under a social and subjective comprehension, once it deals with significance attribution. Motivation is the process that rules choice of the different possibilities of individual behavior, all of which according to the Expectation Theory. This study aims to analyze the implications of the productive restructure, since it is related to technological innovation, organizational changes and management, in motivation and work significance. Thus, the objective of the research is to verify motivational differences and the meaning of work amongst bank employees. This is done in two distinct moments of the productive restructure of bank employees in Natal-RN. The research is divided in two parts. In the first one, changes that occurred in banks between 1999 until 2005 were identified by the means of interviews with 7 bank managers. The analyzed perspective was training intensifying, quality emphasis of customer attendance, the use of automation/technology, staff stabilization, change in staff profile, work intensification, etc. In the second study the Inventory of Motivation and Work Meaning was applied. Thus, questions related to work focus, social demographic data, in 187 bank employees were dealt with. The collected data was compared to data from previous work. It was observed that productive restructure has a reflection in the meaning of work increasing self-expression, economical reward, and responsibility in work conditions. All of the item mention beforehand maintain the level of inhumanness and consummation and respond as being the characteristics of the real work environment. On the other hand, bank employees value less justice, self-expression and more the survival perspective, implying instrumental values to work. As for motivation, it is increased among bank employees. These employees have greater expectations that their work produce results since they believe in their interference in work resultsMaster Thesis Faz-de-conta que eu brinco : o comparecimento da brincadeira na educação infantil da rede pública de Vitória da Conquista-Bahia(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2007-03-29) Silva, Carmem Virgínia Moraes da; Francischini, Rosangela; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4761536A6&dataRevisao=null; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0139351935811805; Lopes, Denise Maria de Carvalho; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4794939Y5; Vieira, Therezinha; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3729508911423226This research aimed to understand the place that the child s play in the childish education of Vitoria da Conquista s public system. We understand the childish education institution like a space that should respect the child as a person in a peculiar condition of development. We adopted the social-historical approach understood from Vygotsky and Leontiev, with the social theory of construction of knowledge and its dialogue with authors like Piaget e Brougère. The child s play was seen like result of social relations with great influence in the childish development. The research was accomplished in 04 public day care centers, amongst 18 existent ones in the city. While subjects of investigation participated 09 educators that works with children with ages between 03 and 04 years old and the children of their respective class-room. The procedures used were the participative observation and the interview with the educators, as a procedure of composition of research corpus, focusing the child s play activity, particularly in the way that it is expressed in the childish education. From of corpus constitution we used the thematic content analysis. We clustered the appearance of child s play in the childish education in three thematic nucleuses to detailed analysis: 1. mediated by the educator; 2. proposed by the educator; and 3. started by the children. The results show that, despite of the limitations that configure the day care centers routine, the child s play appears in the childish education. We hope, through the comprehension of the place occupied by the child s play in the childish education, contributes to the execution of the public politics, above all in the educational scope, to children with ages between zero and six years old, fomenting the discussion of the educator practice, its limitations and possibilitiesMaster Thesis Psicologia e pobreza no Brasil: limites e perspectivas da produção de conhecimento e atuação do psicólogo(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2007-02-12) Dantas, Cândida Maria Bezerra; Yamamoto, Oswaldo Hajime; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4787892Z9&dataRevisao=null; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8181024208435709; Trindade, Zeidi Araújo; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7057133930657550; Larrain, Leoncio Camino Rodriguez; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9098072774674013Poverty is a main theme in Brazil: according to official data, poverty reachs 70 million Brazilian people, and, between them, 20 million are unable to provide their basic needs. Psychology, as a welfare profession, and given its historical concerns with social actions, could not be away from this theme. Based on this, we ask: Which answers Psychology can provide, toward both the production of knowledge and the practice about social reality? The purpose of this paper is to investigate the psychological scientific production on poverty and the propositions, limits and impacts of psychological actions. We carried out a three stages documental based study analyzing Brazilian psychological literature: (1) online databases survey (312 papers identified); (2) 109 scientific abstracts accessed and coded; (3) selected 47 scientific papers read and analyzed. Results are presented in three sections: general description of the selected scientific production; characterization of the role of poverty in psychological literature; and themes presented at the papers. The academic production about the main theme (poverty) is dispersed, heterogeneous, and related to other fields of knowledge. Poverty is presented at these studies in many ways, such as: a criterium for sample design and the assessment of its psychological impacts; reports on professional experience with poor population; descriptions of this population group; relationship between poverty and others social themes; developmental and learning problems of poor children. In general, it appears that Psychology has improved the scientific production and experiences with poor population. However, it is necessary to build up theories and technical innovations and also to understand structural boundaries for professional practice with this population groupMaster Thesis O acolhimento como promoção da saúde entre pacientes com câncer(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2006-10-24) Bragança, Andréa Thomé Netto Machado; Traverso-yépez, Martha Azucena; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4703134T0; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0887303991805212; Bucher, Júlia Sursis Nobre Ferro; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4727633U3&dataRevisao=null; Germano, Raimunda Medeiros; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4721938D8Cancer has been affecting people all around the world; disregard sex, ethnicity or social class. Despite the fact it is not always deadly, to be diagnosed and treated of cancer brings a lot of physical, emotional and social suffering, specially for those with less economic resources. Considering the complexity of the problem, there has been perceived that medical treatment is not enough to support cancer patients. There is an increasing understanding about their necessity of integral care, supposed to be given by a multidisciplinary health care equip that can consider all the different aspects involved in the illness process. Everyone has a particular way of been ill or healthy, and gives different meanings to the experienced events. The starting point of the research was the contact with a called work `group of shelter', developed with cancer patients by a multidisciplinary health care equip working on the LIGA Norte Riograndense Contra o Câncer. The research goal is to identify meanings people give to the shelter they receive in the group and to understand the way they experience the disease. Considering it singularity of this process, one worked with individually half-structuralized interviews, carried through with nine patients of the chemotherapy clinics and suck, that they had passed for the experience of the group of shelter, having approached getting ill, the treatment, the shelter and the recreation of the psychosocial processes (or not) after all this process. It was chosen as focus of analysis the creation of psychosocial processes and production of felt of these social actors through its discourse analysis perspective, boarded in accordance with the following thematic axles: the experience of the cancer, the shelter and recreation of the psychosocial processes the life. It was found that shelter has an extensive meaning going beyond the the group and involving others besides the multidisciplinary health care equip, and being important to give each patient the best possible benefit. It was also identified the importance of other social actors, such as relatives, friends and neighbors; added of religious faith, mentioned by all interviewees. It is to be considered the recovering capacity shown by eight interviewees, demonstrated by changing the way of interacting with others, getting new values and behaviors, and demonstrating more wisdom. We can consider the possibility of making this strategy to become part of the everyday practices of others health services working with cancer patients, what we think can help to minimize their sufferingMaster Thesis Adolescentes preocupadas em conquistar um corpo magro: Um estudo sobre discursos produzidos em diários eletrônicos(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2006-10-23) Souto, Maria Elisa Magalhães Albuquerque; Traverso-yépez, Martha Azucena; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4703134T0; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2841203210881855; Dutra, Elza Maria do Socorro; ; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4767284P4&dataRevisao=null; Severiano, Maria de Fátima Vieira; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0266040240421283The concern about a good physical condition is heavily present nowadays, in documentary films about health and in the media, and it is also expressed through the outstanding growth of physical academies, beauty institutes and aesthetic medicine and all kind of aesthetic surgeries. In the western world the body wave is a significant trend, characterized by the great investments in body image. However, what is overlooked is the fact that in parallel trend grows the number of teenagers, especially females, with all kind of problems related to their body image. As adolescence is a moment of transformations, teenagers tend to be more aware of their body image and often neglect food ingestion and try to build their bodies following the images they have from top models and movie stars. The low self-esteem accompanying this sort of experience is an additional problem. Therefore the research aim to analyze discourses regarding the body image produced in world wide web diaries (blogs). The blogs selection was made through the site www.blogs.com.br, which is considered the widest guide of electronic diaries in Brazil. We looked after blogs including the keyword body and from adolescents aged 10 to 19, who showed concern about a slim body. Three blogs were chosen, considering the example criteria. Discourse analysis shows that these teenagers feel unsatisfied with their bodies, searching by all means the thinness presented as a aesthetic paradigm in western societies which often implies neglecting their own health, using appetite inhibitor drugs, restricting or totally abstaining food ingestion for long periods of time, or provoking themselves vomits after ingesting food. These behaviors, together with intense fear of gaining weight, can be characterized as alimentary disorders, related to the body image. As they usually hide this sort of behaviors from family and friends who do not share this concern, the blogs seem to be an easy tool for adolescents to find peers with whom to share common values and ideas and reaffirm their identities and virtual sense of community
