Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify how the transition of student-athletes occurs from public to private schools through scholarships offered by teachers when they observe their performance inside the sports, based on the students own perspective who have gone and are going through this process. The investigative method was qualitative descriptive, conducted through an interview done with a mobile application (WhatsApp) widely used nowadays and easily accessible, in which the questions and answers were made and given through chat or audio. After completing the questions, the answers were analyzed and we noted that every student when they were in public and to step into the private network, continued with the same sports teacher, this transition was possible by the existing teacher-student relationship, where students might have new opportunities for them would not be possible in public schools, especially in the work field.
