Alfabetização e letramento racial: literatura na educação infantil

Abstract

This scientific article has as its theme literacy and racial literacy through literature in Early Childhood Education, carrying out qualitative research with the aim of highlighting the importance of ethnic-racial discussions in the process of literacy and racial literacy through books in the early years. The following question is problematic: How are literacy, racial literacy and literature appreciated for the process of racial identification? The study is justified by the relevance of the topic, when explaining this topic that is so important today, understanding that this issue needs to be debated with greater emphasis in the educational context with a focus on the initial years.
