This study presents the design and usability evaluation proposal of Quimikando, a mobile educational game prototype aimed at enhancing Chemistry learning for high school students. The interface was developed using user-centered design principles and evaluated through a structured model based on Nielsen’s heuristics and the ISO 9241-210 standard. This work includes a preliminary user evaluation in which participants voluntarily interacted with the prototype anonymously and without any form of identification. The proposed methodology contributes a replicable model for evaluating educational game interfaces, combining theoretical rigor with practical application to promote more engaging and accessible learning experiences. The results indicated high levels of usability and engagement, with students highlighting the clarity, organization, and motivational aspects of the interface, and suggesting improvements in feedback, control, and content personalization.
