As músicas e as brincadeiras de África no ensino de música para educação infantil e fundamental

Abstract

This work seeks to identify the way in which contents linked to cultures of the African continent are mobilized in early childhood and elementary school music classes in schools in Greater Natal. The research has a quantitative approach and collected data through an online questionnaire with thirteen questions, to analyze how teachers transmit the teaching of African culture through music, and observe how they received information about music, culture and African history in their training. The investigation was carried out with six music teachers, graduates of EMUFRN, only one is still a student, but all are active teachers who teach in Greater Natal, in Early Childhood Education, and in Elementary School, initial and final years.
